Mine is slow going up as well, I believe its an age/lack of usage thing - the driver's works fine because I zip it up and down alot
 I would first lube all the window channels up and make sure its not binding in any of the weatherstripping, then go from there. EDIT: don't use grease either, it'll swell the rubbers, use a silicone spray.
