Too bad he wasn't looking about a month ago. We had 3 positions open.

It's kind of a jack of all trades. He can do anything a physicist or engineer can do. Unfortunately... people just hire people with those degrees. IMO, math is probably the hardest science degree, but basically underused. The options really open up with a MS, but currently that's off the table.

Barrett? Calsonic? Nissan? I know there are more, but those are the ones that tend to be looking for people.

No.

Your RX-8 is much better than that POS.

Automatic to boot. Offer him $6K and tell him you are doing him a favor....and that is if he keeps those shitty wheels.

EDIT: 75K on a new engine????? That is not new!!!

jfaplanet 07-06-2011 10:41 PM

75k on an FD engine is about ready for a rebuild. Just say NO!

85rx-7gsl-se 07-06-2011 11:51 PM

Where did it say 75k miles? I saw 75 miles...

djmtsu 07-07-2011 07:26 AM

Maybe it is 75 miles, but I swear it said 75k when I looked.

Either way, I would not buy it.

My5ABaby 07-07-2011 07:37 AM

I'm always scared away when someone lists a car that has a very recent rebuild. You would think they would want to keep the car they just had fixed and can now enjoy. That is, unless there's something wrong with it... :suspect:

lilring 07-07-2011 07:02 PM

Im not trading for it.. i might buy it and turn it into another project car.. do I need 3 cars? and 2 that wont be running?

10K car that you will end up putting in another 5K to get right.
Why not just buy one done right and setup the way you want it.
