Yeah, those.... the way Gunny was talking made it sound like they had a solution that allowed an aftermkt ball joint to be replaced and it was already pressed in...

I have no idea. I just saw them talking about them the other day and when he started asking about aftermarket alternatives I remembered these. I had to do a little searching to find it. I don't have much need for FC parts so I didn't really think too much about it, but they looked kind of cool so I thought it worth passing on to those that do.

How much do you want for the wheels?

Also... since I'm using the hubs from an S5 car do i need S5 ball joints? because if i do there is a note on mazdatrix that says the S5 ball joints only come on the S5 control arms......:squint: and those are really pricey....

I said the MazdaTrix ones were the stock replacement. The others were for aftermarket ball joints if they ever make it into production.

They're sexy... but I don't see them solving the two biggest issues with the FC suspension in the front.

I was asking $700 on fleabay and cl... got many a bite on cl but no one came through with cash in hand...

No... If you're using S4 control arms than you need S4 joints. hubs/knuckles don't care which series

Im thinking of sending my single piston calipers in to mazdatrix as cores and getting rebuilt 4 piston ones. Sending in cores makes the price for the rebuilds about $128 per side. Do you think thats worth it or would i be better off getting a good used set of 4pist calipers and getting a rebuild kit? I guess more clearly what I'm asking is do you think mazdatrix is just taking old calipers and doing the rebuild kit for you or are you getting more than that for the price?

Last time I got calipers they were $35 each from a local jobber ;)

well if you know where i can get calipers for $35 I'm all in. I don't think the price from them is too bad though. Plus they will most likely be clean and nice looking which save me the headache of having to do it lol

just ordered a new Racing Beat front sway bar and end links! Man it felt good to press the submit order button. I haven't bought parts for the car in so long.

Also, Im strongly considering having the front subframe powder coated. I briefly looked underneath the car yesterday and it doesn't seem like its gonna be too hard to take down, but does any one have any advice anything that could give me issues while taking it off?
