Just to let you all know. You missed out at IA. we acutally had a great time and a decent rotary turn out. we had 8 RX8s in our group.

I also heard there were fights, a bunch of dumbasses doing burnouts, etc.

That is why I don't go to IA meets. Too many thugs.

Poorly planned event is poor. They had a year to plan the fall meet, and couldn't even control parking or hoodlum teenagers. It's shit like that that makes the police hate import guys.

I enjoyed it while I was there, but I'm glad I missed all the other idiotic antics.

Summer meet was more organized.

One reason the summer meet stays more civil is that you're trapped in a bowl. There's no room to act like an idiot without getting drug from your car by the masses and beaten to an inch of your life...

The atl meet is pretty chill right maybe ill work on attempting to go to that one

I chose to go to the last autox of the season at Union Hill instead. Cost a bit more in gas money and 25 to run, but still worth every penny. I don't recall seeing any rotary guys out there this time. Unless you consider Brian Johns a rotary guy. He brought out his Miata Turbo. He and his wife co-drove the wheels off that car. It was so mean sounding when it hauled ass past me while I was working.

^Yep, they didn't do too many local events this year so instead of bringing the E Stock Miata out, he decided it would be more fun to run the turbo miata.

I had enough of IA when it ran in conjunction with RTA in 09. Don't see myself making to any more of either venues.

I wish we could have a local event that's more like the murfreesboro cruise in, but for imports and with vendors etc. Besides going to see like... 10 people I get pretty bored.

Brian, there aren't any local 'imports' only cruise in's because the VAST majority of import 'enthusiasts' are young idiots.

This is why I think I will stick to old school from now on. The young kids don't like them, so they ignore you.

Or they don't know what it is because it isn't a Civic or 240.
