She made the 2.5 hour trip without a hitch. Now to find some replacements for my cracking Wal-Mart tires that are 6 years old. Any suggestions of what to put on the stock 15x6" rims?

That works good on a 6.5" vert wheel, but might be too much sidewall bulge for a 6". I would go with a 215/50/15 if you can get. Bridgestone makes the G-Force sport in that size for about $99 each at discounttiredirect.com

My5ABaby 02-22-2010 09:16 PM

I love my Kumho ASXs that are on my 6. Although I'm not sure how they compare to something like Azenis. Mileage really isn't an issue either since I've put on like 8,000 in 6 years...

FerociousP 02-22-2010 10:18 PM

oh i thought those were the vert wheels... my B. yeah 215s would be as big as you want to go. I've had kumhos for a normal driving tire for most of my vehicles with good results. the snow this winter wasnt very fun... tho they drove ok just couldnt take much snow/ice mix

My5ABaby 02-22-2010 11:13 PM

I'm looking for something decently aggressive since it doesn't get driven that much. I know Azenis were the go-to a couple years ago but I'm not sure about now.

On a side note, the ASXs stuck pretty well in the snow/ice mix. I was actually pretty impressed. I took the 6 out to some icy parking lots and had trouble getting it to let go.

Ok, Who is delivering Jet's Pizza in their red S5? I have passed you twice on Lee Victory in the last couple of weeks. Nice ride but that big triangular roof spoiler you've got is on sideways :P

I asked jets about that...
They said his name is "Jeff" no lie... not sure if the same Jeff we know, but that's what his name is.

jfaplanet 02-27-2010 01:23 AM

His name is

Edward, goes by Ed. He's been to the house a couple times. I'm presently putting a motor in his roommates GSL-SE. He lives in M'boro but works in Smyrna, if its the same one, temp tag and all.

That's funny... the staff doesn't / didn't know his name...

My5ABaby 02-27-2010 01:16 PM

I saw a red S5 vert yesterday going east on 24 towards the Boro. License plate started with 56. It was a younger guy.

jfaplanet 02-27-2010 07:25 PM

Anybody need 4 205/50/15 tires? They're Douglas Performance GT-H and cracking some, but not very badly. I feel comfortable driving them around town and such. They have probably 90% tread left on them. I bought them about 4 years ago when money was low and now I'm replacing them with Azenis. I hate to see them go to waste given their tread left.

I also have an extra bump stop. I bought a pack of two to use to keep my differential from demolishing my underbody and (to my understanding) only need one. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ENS-9-9101G/

FC Zach 03-04-2010 03:57 AM

My5ABaby 03-04-2010 09:56 AM

Tires have been claimed.

My5ABaby 03-09-2010 02:15 PM

Anybody need light blue interior pieces? I'm switching to the black interior and if nobody claims my current one it's getting trashed.

reddozen 03-10-2010 12:14 PM

We should meet up again before DGRR.
I'm free anytime in 2 weeks.
Week of the 22nd-26th afternoon... just need to pick a day, time, and place. What about Logans or Red Robbin?

FC Zach 03-10-2010 12:50 PM

Sounds like a good idea to me.

My5ABaby 03-10-2010 03:59 PM

Tuesday, 23rd, 5:30p.m.

Logans? Mexican? Cici's? Red Robin?

fire85gslse 03-10-2010 04:50 PM

What is Red Robin?
I might try as I need to link up with DJ

reddozen 03-10-2010 07:05 PM

It's a "gourmet burger" place. They're really good, and have a bar if you want drinks.

FC Zach 03-10-2010 11:25 PM

That date and either one of those times works for me. What about eating at Toots, I don't think we've there before. It's Good Food & Fun!

My5ABaby 03-11-2010 12:00 AM

Did I mention the interior pieces are free? Carpet and armrest are spoken for. I'm using the A pillar and B pillar plastic. Everything else is fair game.

Dash
bins
rear side carpeting
door panels (manual)
headliner/sunroof trim
rear view mirror

I'll have it out this weekend.

FC Zach 03-11-2010 08:14 AM

door panels (manual)

DIBS! I Want These!

How's the backing board on them, mine are broken and caved in.

FC Zach 03-11-2010 08:16 AM

headliner/sunroof trim

Also, the sunroof trim. The fabric is coming off mine.

djmtsu 03-11-2010 08:56 AM

Dude, Zach.....you know I have had manual window door panels in my attic for like 5 years now?

FerociousP 03-11-2010 09:54 AM

lol

reddozen 03-11-2010 11:16 AM

I'll probably have 2 other RX8's coming on the 23rd. The silver one that was there last time, and another guy in a nortic green one.
