Thanks guys! I will try to keep the pace now when I feel the flow.
Some days, I just wanna blow the whole shit up in the air :) |
Today I did a mockup to see that the coilover-lenght could ba about right, and that the angles looks good in the car.
I also got som used rear tires, also to mockup and make sure the fit later. 225/45-17" Front 255/40-17" Rear http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1556.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1557.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1558.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1559.jpg |

You got to have a car to put the engine in. There's alot of time there!
|
Looking gorgeous as always buddy, do you have the shaft back yet?
|
So how much of this car will you still be able to call a Volvo?
|
I'm going to assume the badge. Lol
|
On the outside the car will look original, but rather low, about 150mm lower than stock :)
But Volvo have thought about this idea a looong time. This Badge the had on the P1800-model. I think they wanted to say something :) http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/ima...d_Ornament.jpg |
I recieved a rod yesterday, Delrin, for bushings. My wife is happy with me as I am :) Coming to these using a stainless steel sleeve model 16x2mm.
http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1560.jpg This is what it would look like, as common. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ar1280x720.jpg Then today I got to work hard because I do not have access to laser-cutter. Began to mill as deep as I dared, without them to come off, and the plate begins to vibrate and break the cutter. Then there has been much handwork! Good for me, to practice a bit. Continued on these! http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1561.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1562.jpg |
Came up with an new idea about the Camber-adjustment. Simple to adjust with only one tool, and no need for deassembly anything around it.
http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...011280x720.jpg 4pc Ø30mm steel. Did not have the possibility to use the CNC-lathe tonight, so it has been some therapy in the manual lathe. M20x1.5 thread for streanght and good adjustments. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1582.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1584.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1587.jpg |
You are a bad boy holding black steel in the three jaw!!!!
|
Why not? What else could I've done?
|
Could you put something next to those so we can get an idea of how big they are?
