Thanks guys! I will try to keep the pace now when I feel the flow.
Some days, I just wanna blow the whole shit up in the air :)

Today I did a mockup to see that the coilover-lenght could ba about right, and that the angles looks good in the car.
I also got som used rear tires, also to mockup and make sure the fit later.
225/45-17" Front
255/40-17" Rear

I think we all feel that way with a project sometimes. Take a week or so off, have a beer, or two, or three, or.... with guys that are tracking their cars. Run a few laps of Gran Turismo, etc. Bam! good to go, ready for more work. :auto:

You got to have a car to put the engine in. There's alot of time there!

Mazdabater 07-06-2012 12:15 AM

Looking gorgeous as always buddy, do you have the shaft back yet?

Raksj04 07-06-2012 12:31 AM

So how much of this car will you still be able to call a Volvo?

Mazdabater 07-06-2012 12:42 AM

I'm going to assume the badge. Lol

Tegheim 07-06-2012 07:13 AM

On the outside the car will look original, but rather low, about 150mm lower than stock :)
But Volvo have thought about this idea a looong time. This Badge the had on the P1800-model. I think they wanted to say something :)

I recieved a rod yesterday, Delrin, for bushings. My wife is happy with me as I am :) Coming to these using a stainless steel sleeve model 16x2mm.

This is what it would look like, as common.

Then today I got to work hard because I do not have access to laser-cutter. Began to mill as deep as I dared, without them to come off, and the plate begins to vibrate and break the cutter. Then there has been much handwork! Good for me, to practice a bit. Continued on these!

Came up with an new idea about the Camber-adjustment. Simple to adjust with only one tool, and no need for deassembly anything around it.

4pc Ø30mm steel.
Did not have the possibility to use the CNC-lathe tonight, so it has been some therapy in the manual lathe.
M20x1.5 thread for streanght and good adjustments.

Tegheim 07-18-2012 05:00 PM

Raksj04 07-18-2012 06:03 PM

Could you put something next to those so we can get an idea of how big they are?
