What is the difference between these and the ones that Fujita Engineering/gotham racing makes/made? Theirs had struts right?

Yeah, Theirs do have struts.. Garfinkle's is measured bar with rubber bushings at the end.. I believe his is better and much better base than others.

Here is a picture of my old engine bay..

I have had several customers remove the feed units ,Ebay and the RX7 store units and install my design and stay with it .I see it as an improvement ,not a band aid .

Engine Torque Brace: Quality item!!

Wanted to share with you my experience with Dave and his engine torque brace. Bought one for my 3 rotor a few months back at DGGR. Just got it installed as the car has been at Kilo Racing in Orlando for some fine tuning.

The unit is high quality and an excellent design. No scrimping on materials here:) Bolting up the torque brace ends is both easy and a bit difficult. The end that bolts to the engine - easy, installs with two screws. The end that attaches to the firewall is a bit trickier. The instructions discuss removing the ABS unit but we didn't have to do this. Did have to remove the fender though and drill a few holes. Once done though, not that big of a deal.

I then contacted Dave with my brace measurements and within one week, I had the brace in hand. Again very beefy. As it comes in raw steel, I painted mine with Duplicolor chrome paint and it turned out pretty good. Installation of this part took a few minutes and is done with the installation of two bolts, all of which are provided with the kit.

Haven't had a chance yet to drive the car as it is down pending a new alternator.

Bottom line - looking for a high quality engine torque brace from a person who is great to deal with and very knowledgeable and a fellow rotor head? Then buy this unit and never look back!

Any idea whether this brace is suitable for a RHD FD?

Looks like it'd go close to clearing the master cylinder.....

On my car the MC sets below the top of the firewall about 2 1/2 inches the brace sits below about one inch .So I think it will work .If you buy one and I am wrong I will refund your money .If you put in an oil pan brace then the motor will sit alittle higher for more clearance .
