I've seen some poorly running 7s in the past as well as some that have suprised me as to how fast they start. While compression is a factor... It can be easily checked and taken out of the equation. There should be no reason that if the motor has good compression that it shouldn't start right away. Fuel injection is a rather precise system but when a single component is weak or failing, it can bring the whole system down like this example. I would be very interested to see know how many people have chalked their motors up to being bad when then didn't do simple maintenance or troubleshooting work... and how much of this ignorance has helped give our motors bad names.

**Not attacking anyone's actions specifically... especially given the thread.

Only a totally brain dead person would even write a post wondering why his car is flooding if he had a slow or slugginsh acting starter. But after reading your answer to the thread where I attached a jpg of how the fuel Start system works.........I'm not surprised your brain dead and clueless. Not the slightest bit surprised.

Okay, I think this thread is done for.
Thanks everyone for their contribution.
OP has found the problem, and it's fixed.
End of story.
