You can swap the front cover and use the S4 throttlebody, map sensor, injectors, wiring harness, afm, and temp sensors.

If the sensor connectors are the same, but that is more work than simply plopping in the new ECU and using a S5 harness.

You have to swap over the body harness too though, the connectors or pin outs are different.

You basically just keep the shortblock and intake manifold minus the throttle body and keep everything else from the old engine.

/\ mr. shining monkey is right btw... I researched the hell out of the swap, and swapping the front cover is really the easiest.

The reason is that if I ever total my vert, I'm getting an S4 base shell and swapping everything good over to it.

Maybe if the kid is only 15, he just cant take off properly? Perhaps the car was installed with a preformance clutch and he just cant work it yet?

Did your dad drive the car just fine and then this started? Also, you got a permit I presume? That's a hell of a dad to let a 15 y.o. get a sports car!

I know he is, but doing that just seems like more trouble in the long run, but I also never do things the easy way lol.

We need updates on this situation.

Ummm Okay. I'm back to post some new news on my Car. Turns out, my dad has been 1-5 steps ahead of me and we've narrowed it down to the intake gasket which we think is right. Since My last post I've been really busy. But like I said... I'll keep you posted. Pics will be here soon!
