ok, so after swapping the coil pack and spraying some starting fluid, it came to life with a nice roar.
thanks for the input, ill throw up some pics in a lil bit.. YAY! it runs. Next up: Direct Fire mod. |

Also check wiring to and at the injectors. On a fresh new build I had fuel to the rail, knock you on your butt spark, what I thought was clicking injectors but wouldn't fire up. 99.9% time I can just reach in and turn the key and they fire. This one (my own car of course) labor went on for two days. Everything looked fine, one time playing with the connector at the injectors I got intermittant clicking. Found wires broken but insulator fine. Code checker was inconclusive. Repaired connections and it started on first turn.
Mazda check procedure for no start 1-Check spark, plugs and control system 2-Check injectors and control system-clicking, continuity between trail coil to terminal U control unit, - EGI main fuse, turn ign on verify main relay clicks. If no click at relay, check 12v at relay connector #2 term BW 3-water temp sensor 4-fuel pump switch in AFM- check AFM operation 5-fuel pressure and pressure regulator 6-fuel leak at injectors, (wet plugs) injectors shorted or leaking, wiring to control unit or unit ground 7-perform trouble shooting with system checker 8-check operation of control unit 9-check compression |
