I couldn't tell you, my tuner knows all that. Sorry. I think he has it all applied to his system already.

His email is sr-tuning at comcast.net if you wanna ask him yourself. I know you're all the way over there, but he's a genius at this stuff. His name is Frank. Also, his website is http://www.sr-tuning.us/

I never thought of the altitude. I thought the UK was at sea level.
New Zealand is pretty much all at sea level around Auckland, exept if you head out into the mountains. Many GT3582R RX7's over here put out between 400 - 550 whp and many on hub dynos too, depending on other mods too. Not many FDs here use the same fuel as I do or run WI.

My car will be on the dyno again in the near future as the engine builder wants to see how far it goes before it stops making power. I will get a copy of the graph and record the run so you can watch it.

Were you thinking I'm in the UK? I'm in the US, in Colorado right by the Rocky Mountains haha.

Awesome sounds good, I'd love to see the info you will have. I'd also love to make it out to your neck of the woods, as well as Australia and mainland Japan, and visit my old friends in Okinawa too.

EDIT: I just realized I don't have my location on here haha.

Sorry thought you were UK....I have been checking out Mazdarotaryclub forum too and they are UK...getting the 2 mixed up.

Once the new dyno run is done I will post up the PFC logs along with the clip and the graph.

I found a thing on the net that shows how to calculate the power at different altitudes.

Check it out. http://www.slowgt.com/Boards/SlowGTO...1/00000075.htm

I get 397hp for your car with this graph at sea level and 470hp with my car at 6000'

Perhaps beeing above and below the equator makes a difference as the guys from the UK dont seem to have the same power levels either.

speedjunkie 01-22-2009 05:53 PM

^DAMN!! That's a huge difference haha. I'll check that out, thanks!

Dr-Rotor 01-22-2009 06:37 PM

Yea it is quite huge....you should drive down to the ocean and have it dynoed there to see what happens.

speedjunkie 01-22-2009 08:25 PM

Yeah that's my plan. Get it tuned and dyno at altitude, then dyno again in Missouri when I go home on leave to see what my HP REALLY is haha.

any SP spec dyno's on street ported engines?

speedjunkie 01-23-2009 12:18 AM

Not yet, but my tuner had me ask Sean about that. He said he was going to see if he could find any but hadn't yet.
