He ran 9.8 in the final. My 7 was even with him after 3rd but miss shifting twice to 4th didn't help :D If he didn't miss 4th I think the car would be in the 9.8-9.7 at around 139mph. I never thought the car be running 9's we were just trying to fine the car and it almost beat a full blown drag car :D

The 9.97 was done on 33psi with a granny shifting to 4th gear. The 2 step is set at 7500 which I think build around 11psi. The last run that ran the 6.28 in the 1/8 mile was on 36psi.

Also to mention that the car was sitting outside for 3 month and when we tried to start the motor one apex was stuck in the front rotor. The plugs was fill with rust so there was alot of moisture inside the motor. We manage to pop it out by reving the crap out of it :D

Awesome. What fuel are you running? Rear struts and springs?

very nice! 9's is moving on!

Mike I can't wait for the rule change next year. Next year, you must have all glass, full exhaust and a few other things to make sure its true street class. Only draw back is payout is so much less that the class is less desirable for the cheaters... But its not about money in my eyes.

No more guns in the sword fight!

sk8world 09-23-2009 12:04 AM

That will be nice but I think I read a few other rules I didnt like. If I recall something about tires and fuel? I may be wrong.. I hope to have 2 cars running for next year! One will own the DSM! Nothing like a 1700lb, auto-transbrake-HUGE stall-600+rotary!

Bryan@BNR 09-23-2009 07:01 PM

Haha. I would like to see that happen Mike. You must really enjoy spending lots of money! Let me know when you need a whopper turbo!

Not even close Bryan! This is going to be a budget drag car. I am doing 98% of everything! Minus 4 link and a few more bars for cage, tranny set up. So I am done with the $$ spending on the FD until the motor goes.
