YES SIR!

Maxed out the NPR intercooler :(. But at 20 psi it made 474 RWHP and 355 TQ. This dyno reads low as well so I guess it isn't too shabby.

We turned it up to 22 psi and had some blow out issues. Then came crank case issues, then some run funny issues which resulted me quitting :D.

I think I have a side seal thats sticking or floating. At idle the vacume is at 16 inches which is normal. from 3500-4500 it has a sputter like something is messed up. After that it is crisp and clean.:banghead:

This is the sheet before I quit. It had a rich misfire and the crank case was making a huge mess. Since there was only a minute gain, I figured it wasn't worth going any further... My 20 psi curve is very nice and not chopped up like these we were having a problem with.

SPICcnmFD 10-26-2009 07:56 AM

Congrats Bryan!!! I'm glad you think it reads a little low also. Makes me feel better about my numbers.

I am not used to good news but here we go! Turns out not to be an internal problem . Me and sam were saving a bunch of maps and in parts of the part throttle in the mid range were in the mid to low 11's. I brought them up to low 13's and the engine runs smooth as glass! I was so worried about it b/c it sounded okay on starts, and the vacume is at 15-16" at 1K RPM. It sealed up at idle and up on RPM. I didn't get the map tuned well past 20 psi so I guess it will stay right there.

I was going to race it anyway even if the motor was on the way out. I just wanted a better excuse to pull out the engine. Might as well finish it off in the best of ways!

Congrats.. 475 is plenty to make that car go fast!

Herblenny 10-28-2009 07:21 AM

I just found out some of the BamaGZ guys are leaving at 6:30 from the waffle house in Alabaster.. That's too early for me.. Last year we left around 7:30 and we didn't have to wait too long (gate opens at 9).

I say we still meet up 1/4 til 7AM and try to roll out by 7:15.

ZGN 10-28-2009 07:38 AM

I am with ya on that one.

That intake manifold changed peak TQ from 5800 to 6800 RPM. I don't know what the car is going to do, but the car is 60 WHP stronger 7500-8300 which is about what I wanted at the same boost level. Since there is 4.88's in the rear, I wanted to bump the limiter up instead of running a lower gear set.

sk8world 10-29-2009 05:03 PM

I broke something last weekend (lsd wise) so I have to pull it apart and see whats up.
