i really want Two! My stock key through, is a little "twisted" so are these stronger than stock? The driver's side lock on my car is crap, and it bent the key!!!

They're held on with a pretty strong rivet, in the middle as you can see. I haven't had anyone return a broken one yet.

how would you recommend getting the keys cut? With our cars being older should we just copy our current key, or should we get one cut off the VIN?? Being there's only one shot to get it right...

Just take your current key to the locksmith, I haven't had anyone not able to use their new keys. Copy your current key.

Me I have had no such luck. Been to three different places. One guy said my key was too special and he wouldnt do it. The other ones had issues with it fitting into the jig on the machine. But I hope to get it cut this weekend somewhere!

I just got mine cut at a hardware store here in m'boro. took about a minute and it was FREE! works fine on every lock and ignition... the guy did say like 5 times that he wasn't liable if it didn't work tho :)

thanks Rotary13b1 for a great product!

Rotary13B1 03-27-2008 02:08 PM

Yeah, I've had a few guys say they can't find people to cut it for them. But once cut, it works just like NEW! Someone WILL cut it for yah!

JL1RX7 03-27-2008 02:10 PM

I know, I just thought it was funny cause he said it was special key and he couldnt cut it. Hell it is almost a 20 year car, not some new BMW or the like!
