It is one clean 1st gen!
That is a beautiful 1st gen.
if it had fender mirrors... it would be perfect.
I need those clear front signals for my mariah & my 1st gen.
Everyone has the constitutional right to make their car impractical and grossly stupid, but I have the right to tell you that your brain is f** up, and to not give you any respect.
Shit is shit no matter what you call it. |
^ rofl...wow that's great!
While that may be true, this thread is dangerously close to being closed.
is that a bad thing?

Tire stretching is unsafe & just a bad idea on a street driven vehicle. To all those who follow the trend, what will the next COOL thing be?

That's a good looking Bimmer! Looks like Corvette wheels & the bumper is hot!!! I'm going to one up this car & make a collage over my whole damn car.
Well this epidemic is getting sad. It was bad before, but it's getting worse. People can't even post pics of thier damn cars without hearing comments like these. "you need an agressive offset & baller sizes", " the car is too high & needs more camber" & "your tires look blocky". I see comments like these about cars that look pretty damn good. The fools that make these stupid post will then go & compliment a beat up, no paint pile just because it's slammed on JDM wheels with little tires. makes no damn sense.
 dunno what to tell you...i'm just glad that is kept to a minimum on this forum.
They play victim pretty shitty over there! Poor little drifters now say I'm targeting them. LOL It's funny I didn't say shit until one of them said something negative & I still didn't bash them.
The thing that gets me about the whole 'aggressive fitment' thing is how everyone brags about how they 'make stuff fit'. The wheels are so ill-fitting that they have to sacrifice proper alignment and tire fitment just for bragging rights.
"Bro, I got 17x12s to fit, I had to stretch a 195 onto them and run tons of camber, but they're on there" "Yeah well, I got 17x13s on mine! I had to use an even smaller tire and even more camber but they're on there!" "Oh shit, gangster!!" If you're so 'baller', why not get rims that are more optimally sized for the car? At the end of the day, it's all about bragging rights over who can take it the farthest. Just like in the early 2000s: "Bro, I got 400 horsepower!" "Bro, I got 500!!" "Shit, bro!!" Offset, width, tire stretch and camber are the new horsepower. True aggressive fitnment or 'flushness' is great, ie a tire with a square or slightly stretched sidewall profile, flush with the fender but not sticking out. That looks awesome, and you can actually drive aggressively that way. But once you get the wheel sitting sideways in the well and the the tire is so stretched that it looks spherical, you've gone too far and it just looks dumb now. There is absolutely nothing 'aggressive' about a car that has a smaller contact patch than stock and horrible alignment. Good luck driving aggressively like that. it's just like any other thing that suddenly becomes popular, it starts out actually being good, then all the "look-at-me"s keep taking it further and further until it's gone so far beyond the original concept, but the masses eat it up because America loves excess. In fact, what's flush about a sideways rim ? It's simple terminology, refer to this image: http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...hellaflush.jpg |
Well I'm not going to debate the issue over there any longer or on any forum.
hahaha, that's what you get for poking in the crap-hole that is the drifting forum...seriously, you know better than to try and reason with THOSE people...you're better off teaching your dog to look both ways before crossing the street to hump a bitch.
Just wait until the next fad kicks in...I hope it has to do with domestics or non-rotaries. |
I know I let it get to me, I just didn't like the fact a decent looking car getting picked out for this dumb shit. It won't happen again trust me.

Hella gay ,looks like guys that bought the wrong size rims with the wrong off set and lost the tag to return them.I guess it wont be a dead issue until the fad is over. Stretchies are dangerous to people around them ,like a family driving home that gets hit by a car with stretchies because they ran over a pot hole and lost control of the car. Drifting is cool enough to watch but how is it racing?:fawk:I hope rat rods go out of style soon ,vintage american metal being ruined.
