Isn't the tack the most important gauge to have directly in front of you?

Rx_sam 07-06-2011 08:00 AM

the tach is in a better position because the steering wheel doesn't blok a piece of the vieuw.
my opinion :)

Rx_sam 07-07-2011 08:18 AM

these are the wheels i have ordered yesterday Asanti Af 164
19" x 9" -6 and 19" x 12" -34

Perhaps I'm just odd, but it's the gauge I check the least. I know what gear I'm in because I'm the one shifting and I know round-about what my speed is, so I more or less know what my RPMs are based upon those two things so I have no real reason to look at it. Couple that with the sound of the engine/exhaust and there's not a huge need to look at the tach.

That said, I have no sensory input (e.g. sound, sight) of fuel/oil pressure, coolant temp, etc. without a gauge.

Rx_sam 07-13-2011 02:26 PM

i was bit bored and took a picture of the dashbord with the lights on :)

Them wheels killed it for me:-( ..... They have them on ghetto "donk" cars with stereo systems worth more than the car...... But to each it's own.

Rx_sam 09-22-2011 09:51 AM

this was for me the best choice. it fits the kit because i think it has some agressive looks.

I guess they would look good... But for the money that's spent on them, you coulda got some custom offset wheels like CCW, HRE, Rays or something in that nature..... Thread subscribed.

Rx_sam 09-22-2011 12:19 PM

i know but i wanted a wheel that you don't see much. just to be different from somebody else :) didn't wanted that race look for the wheels

rx7 vinnie 09-22-2011 03:20 PM

Gotcha..... I'm looking toward seeing this finished and running.

Rx_sam 10-01-2011 03:45 PM
