I am back...been hooking up my motor...I just gave up on waiting for my clutch so I put the original Kayaba clutch in it that came with the car...looks like it has about half its life left. Three puck metallic FTW?

Well thats good. At least you can get it broke in with that clutch.
I would like to know the compression on that motor once broke in. After building it and spinning by hand it gave awesome compression strokes.

85rx-7gsl-se 03-26-2008 08:37 AM

^ Sure Chad, I am looking forward to seeing comp numbers too :)

FerociousP 03-26-2008 03:31 PM

the o-ring looked intact. we changed it anyway and put on a t2 oil pump. With fresh oil put in it, it showed 60 psi on the interstate back to the boro, and about 25 once it idled after driving. We'll see what happens in about a week...

djmtsu 03-26-2008 04:57 PM

That is alot better than how it was!!

I finally have space to work on the 626. Finally out of the yard, and in the driveway!

FerociousP 03-26-2008 07:41 PM

i'll send the Wahhmbulance to park in your driveway... or i'll pay for delivery, send you a wahburger and some french cries...

85rx-7gsl-se 03-26-2008 07:56 PM

I want to see this 626 do the burnout you always brag about DJ.

FerociousP 03-26-2008 10:19 PM

don't get him started

it might do a burnout.... it just won't stop afterwards

85rx-7gsl-se 03-26-2008 10:37 PM

Hehe, so are we going to do the 626 burnout at the rest stop at the top of the Dragon?

djmtsu 03-27-2008 12:18 PM

The 626 is staying at home. Maybe I will bring it next year though.

spankle my wankle 04-01-2008 02:11 PM

soooooo......important question for those who are drinking this year......zach was talking about buying a keg and i was just wondering (not that im partaking of this keg) what beer we can agree on to make everyone happy cause if by some miracle i do have a beer i am NOT drinking miller lite

djmtsu 04-01-2008 02:14 PM

Well, I am NOT drinking Bud Light, or any Budweiser product.

I think a keg might be a risky deal. Especially since it isn't even Nahthalla's cabin, but a private owner. I know WE ARE ALL RESPECTFUL, but some people forget how to act when there is that much booze around.

But its not my decision.

spankle my wankle 04-01-2008 04:07 PM

so.......silver bullet ftw

spankle my wankle 04-01-2008 04:19 PM

oh another question are we partying friday night too or what we do then?

Pourman 04-01-2008 04:34 PM

Each night :) ... in Moderation ;)

WE3RX7 04-01-2008 05:14 PM

? - and this may be dumb, but I've never been to the gap, so pardon the ignorance. On the map... I dont see cabin 1016 for nantahala village... all their cabins are 1-120 or so...??? Is 1016 the code name, lol..

Turbo II 04-01-2008 06:01 PM

Cabin 1016 is where debauchery and farm animals were abused last year at Fontana Village.
Well, maybe not but there was one hell of a party there so in keeping with the tradition any place those guys are staying will be from ow on called Cabin 1016.

WE3RX7 04-01-2008 06:55 PM

Got ya...

FC Zach 04-02-2008 12:46 AM

Damn I thought everyone liked Miller. So what kind of brew is the median that anyone can tolerate? Its on me, so why am I even asking LOL. I'll just get a keg of O'Doules LOL. Settled.
