Wow man. . . . Jeez! that is amazing
|
Bought a piece of SS2541-03 material. Ø220mm and 100mm "long".
http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps657cf5e6.jpg First side http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psfd063946.jpg Finished http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps0bd09b8b.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps9b88d4e5.jpg Now I will get this to a man who will help me with wire cutting. Will do some splines inside to fit the e-shaft. Will do with one spline loss, so it only can fit i one place. Will be better when its time for balancing. |
Love the things your doing. don't know if you've see this video or not but might be worth looking at if your building from scratch. keep up the good work.

Me, my redneck brother on the picture and our dad pushed the wolvo out of the garage an up on the lift.
Time to get serious! http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psff9d3617.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps8fce631f.jpg |
This weekend me and my brother did a 600km roadtrip to get this result.
19x9.25" BBS Magnesium. 8kg och centerlock. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psd030dd90.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psc5c5f056.jpg Also started on the wheel-hub, with design help from Ronnie at www.hilmersson-racing.com http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps21f79c8d.jpg |
I hate you. :)

Some lack of motivation. Thought I would be going mad when the car dropped down on the floor, but thats not what happend.
Yesterday I drawed my new rims in SolidWorks. I really like to just sit there and relax and draw. I also checked out the weight of the rims. 8.08kg/each aren't bad for 19" I think. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psb76b292f.jpg A little adapter as well. I want it as low as possible because the car isn't that wide. And I have long controller-arms. Maybe I will do some new wheelhubs as well :) http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps38510552.jpg This is the digitalized BBS's I did. All measurement are corrent and it turned out good! http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps546098c3.jpg The whole package togheter. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps5c00d208.jpg Feel free to join my Facebook-group! www.facebook.com/moosevilleperformance |
Our race team liked your page :)
Are you going to do the body work before or after your drop the final engine in? |
I think the outer body will come last. There is much to fit and build inside the car and around the engine. Will do that with the mockup I think. Then take everything apart and finish the outside of the body. Then paint, and re-assembly...
Havn't really thought this through. There is a long way left. |
Today I have continued on the rotors.
Did some roughing on the outer contour. Still 1.25mm left. Will be around 3.9kg when done. Before http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps9cf8807b.jpg After http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psc45149e7.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps86947182.jpg Also did some adjustments on the exhaustflanges. Now the tubing fits perfect! http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psa75b64c8.jpg Last I did a key to the E-shaft. 5x5x48mm, and turned out well. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps77998d57.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psa7e14619.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps2e6d3ade.jpg First assembly with grinded surfaces and the key. Perfect! http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...pscdd555e0.jpg Photo on the group of todays game. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps8f54a924.jpg |
That is a thing of beauty.

I've been away from the forum for a while, what a great gift to come back to! Lots of progress has been made since the last time I checked up on this thread. It's so epic.

Working on those rotors.
The differens of 0.01mm is the differens for GO, or NO GO :) http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...psd6bcb889.jpg |
