So, you guys have fun and take care. Maybe in the future the powers that be will be a little more selective about who they give "mod" status too. For me, moderators are people who represent the site and are what gives the site their reputation. They are supposed to be knowledgeable and respectful to EVERYONE, regardless of how "newb" they are. I don't care how smart Ted is or what all he has done for the rotary community-none of that will ever "right" his horrible attitude towards me and others. See ya. |

No. Stop. Come back. :dunno:
You do realize your innocent thread was actually delivering what you wanted right? Yes it got off to a rocky start, but it was providing pertinent info. You can take a stand and walk, and some would say you are right to do so. Others would say that this is the internet and while its easy to remain anonymous and be a bully, its also easy to be a little humble when asking questions asked so many times before and you don't get the response you were expecting... especially when you are still anonymous. Noone is trying to hurt your actual feelings. A 6yr veteran of the 7club should be familiar with that and with Reted (he's been there forever). So stay and we all move on... or goodbye and good luck. You seem to have an interesting car, but like all of us including me, you will be easily forgotten once you leave. Maybe time to start a new thread? |

I would ask what is a good turbo that will make 325ish whp that will spool faster then my stock S4 JDM. But.. . . yeah.
I thought I was thin skined but damn. I have had more trolling on the evil forum then here you would have to dig thru 25 post of crap before you got an anwser that was decent. Here there are a few people that are tough to deal with but will still help you if you are respectfully. |
Thin skin = Foreskin
I really should be a moderator here :willy_nilly: |

I hope other newbies can learn from this thread.
If you think you know alot, then get proven wrong, don't get mad, just accept your short comings and move on. Gathering info and planning my first build has had it's share of changes, due to more experienced people telling me when i was wrong. And some of those advices where given in a not so friendly tone, but i accept that i'm fairly new at this, and that if i get mad at people cause they are tired of the same questions from newbs over and over again, i won't last very long on the forum before i get my nuts torn off. |

RETed is right here. Don't waste your time with a BS build. Buy a 13BT, run a BNR 3 or 4 with a RTEK 2.1 and you can make good, reliable horsepower with a very nice power band. It will cost a fair amount money, but power isn't cheap.

cheap ,fast ,reliable :pick 2 . This thread got kind of ugly ,yet interesting .I learned a lot ,don't turbo a n/a motor. It's starting to sound like datsun guy questions around here.lol:sifone:
|
I don't think building a turbo 6 port is a bad idea as long as you're not going for ridiculous power. The rear iron will probably crack around 400(?) but most people aren't getting there anyways. Ideally a 4 13BT is best, but I already have a 13B and they're cheap as hell to replace. Any engine is going to eventually pop. I can get a used but good 13B for $300...
