Well, I've been grinning from ear to ear all evening. Today was "payday".

Looks much better now, how is it running with that map?

Looks great! Is that red interior that I see? If so it's a great combo.

The map is great. I have boost turned all the way down to 9lbs because I don't have my wideband installed to know my AFR's. The other 3 maps(random ones I had on my laptop, not Dan's) I tried today would hardly idle and as soon as I hit the gas, the car would fall on it's face. I really appreciate you putting it together for me and look foreward to you tuning my car.

Yes it is. I use to not like it, but it has grown on me over the years. Plus the seats were very nicely recovered around 500miles ago so I'll at least keep it around until they wear out... then I may go black.

ObliqueFD 03-04-2008 12:49 AM

Who recovered the seats? Leatherseats.com? Mine have a couple of small rips, so they will be due to be recovered soon. How does the color compare to the old seats?

Brent 03-04-2008 01:01 AM

It was done by a local upholstery shop. They might be just a touch darker than the originals, but the fitment is amazing. I'll get some pictures of them in a day or two.

Hey David,

I'm not taking in any outside work until I get my car done. I'll shoot you a pm when I'm available.

It's actually a Pettit Coolcharge III. They look the same as the M2's, but the duct is a little different.

I picked up a set of Porsche 993 "big reds" front big brakes. I am currently looking for the RS/RZ rear brakes. I may just end up buying them new from Mazda if a set doesn't turn up soon. Currently looking for a sway bar, but will prob. just end up getting a tri point with widefoot mounts. I have picked up some other stuff since I've been over here, but nothing that significant.... new floormats from JasonS, new Hoosier R6's, RE rear diffusor, etc... I'll have some more updates on the car come October when I get to come home for 2 weeks.

My Porsche 993 "Big Red's" Front BBK. The calipers were just rebuilt. I'm going to try to have a 2 piece floating rotor fabricated for these like GooRoo's once I get back:

I updated the first post a while back and *should* be doing much more updating in the next week. Here are a couple of pictures from the AutoX last week:

Last night, I put on my Tein HA's, Porsche Big Red Front Calipers with new rotors, pads, and SS Braided lines, and my 99spec RZ Rear Calipers, Rotors, Mazdaspeed SS Braided lines, and Hawk HT-10 pads. I'm going to put on my Tripoint Sway Bar and Widefoot Sway Bar mounts here in a few minutes hopefully. After that, I'm heading out to TPGR for 2 days at the track. So much work to do... so little time :D
