don't like them but they aren't that bad. I just wish I didn't wreck the Kosei K1's 4x110 that I had only one barely survived(straight but scratched up)
|
I have had these konig rewinds on my FB since last March....damn I LOVE THEM! no issues with them what so ever. Damn good wheel and my FB looks sexy to boot :)
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...s/SANY4536.jpg and i added a little flare to the caps :) http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...Rx7Sunday5.jpg |
LOL. OOT, your car was part of the reason I went ahead and bought these wheels. I do have a white '83 GSL, and my boy really wants it.
BTW, DTD is once again running the $50 off special, AND they list these wheels as in stock at 2 of their warehouses. I might wind up having to order another set......... |
Bumping this thread to again say the deal is still being offered.
Under $350 shipped for new 15x7 4x110 wheels is a bargain. Currently show to be in stock at 2 of their warehouses, so no waiting! http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...r=1&wd=15&rw=7 BTW, DTD is also giving an $80 rebate on RT-615's. 205/50-15 $81 each, shipped. After rebate, $61 each = cheapest tire they sell in this size. Kinda like a buy 3, get one free.... |
Vulcan tire has the rt-615's for $71 a pop at a 205-50-15, and when you order 4 you get $30 off...($254 total)and in GRM on page 116 of feb's magazine they are also offering free totes when you order 4 RT-615. So basically for $10 more than DTD, you are getting 4 tire totes.

DTD still has $50 off
so Iam getting ready to place an order on DTD to get some konig B Bomb 15x7.5 at 0 offset. how bad is the offset for my 84 rx7 gsl-se? if i need flares would they be okay for a month? and im thinking about 205-50-15 tires. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks :001_005:
|
With that offset you'll probably be sticking out from the fender quite a bit. I say test fit them first then decide if flares are necessary.
|
I finally sprung for a set of the Konigs after using up the last bit of tread on my x wheels. So now it's down to tires. I know 205-50's have +/- the same rolling diameter as the stock tires thereby keeping the speedometer fairly accurate but if the speedo was not a consideration, what is the max tire size usable with the Konigs that will operate in the stock wheel wells without rubbing at full steering lock and suspension deflection? Any thoughts?

Bumping this back to the top.
The $50 off on a set of 4 is still going on, so they're only $350/set shipped....http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...rw=&vid=000555 |

where u get 350? i come up with 410.
|
Ran these on my old 240s for awhile. They have seen 6 different cars and still holds the original paint I put on them.
