Does anyone know if anyone makes a stock n/a hood out of fiberglass, cause that would make an awesome base for him to work from

Chaser does but a FG hood would be the worst way to start. All the ducting, the vents, everything you'd need to make a mold or a form for. If you start with an aluminum or steel hood, you can build and then weld all your pieces on. Do all the fairing you need, and then pull a mold if you want to reproduce them. It would be an incredible PITA though to pull a mold. You'd actually need 2.

I could, well I know how... but I'd potentially ruin a hood and need to buy a but ton of resin, sandpaper, power sander and etc

I wouldn't bother trying to pull a mold from an AL hood just to muck up the new piece trying to vent it. I would vent the AL hood first, do all the fairing that needs to be done, prime it, paint a few gallons of clears, cut it mirror smooth, wax the SHIT out of it and then pull the mold.

Well talk about it enough and someone comes up with something about it

I'd rock that hood for that price. However, how many times has Shine gone down that path and never gotten it done becuase of cheapass FC owners.

Not to mention my time frame is I want it before 06/18. I registered just to put my name down though.

I already told Ken that if the GB falls through that I'll buy the original off of him.

I've been hanging out in Southlake all weekend (a high end part of the DFW metroplex) and I have residual baller-ness on me right now.

So what happened was as I said happens. Shine apparently has a Panspeed hood, but used the Garage Kagotani hood pics thinking it was Panspeed so they could show what it looks like on a car

I'm rocking mr gasket hood pins kit but I'm actually using john deer trailer pins (for small trailers on small engine stuff, or gators) for the pins themselves, 30 cents a pop and work better than the ones that came with the kit lol.

TitaniumTT 06-01-2009 05:30 PM

Aerocatch FTMFW!

So it's the Panspeed hood? Great. Regardless, do they have any sort of time frame going? Do want hood NOW. Getting ready to build my own. Depending on what the scumfuck spermburpers at the ins co say.
