More funny shit from my friends Jason's car so this lug nut was holding the DP to the cat  yes lug nut
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0070.jpg Gasket maker on the DP to cat http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0071.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0074.jpg I was hopping to find were the "burnt popcorn" smell was coming from but couldn't really find anything definitive http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0072.jpg We pulled his stereo since we are installing a Defi Din gauges http://www.defi-shop.com/product/din...name_black.jpg Anyways look what we found, you know he wondered why his antenna didn't work rofl http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0076.jpg Yes that's a standard wood screw, screwed into the antenna port. This is the wire that should be for the antenna http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0078.jpg Now see the screw and the black wire behind that you see a metal taping screw, yeah it grounds out right there  http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0080.jpg And another rats nest of wires http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__..._emote_gif.gif http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/IMG_0081.jpg |

Wow...I don't even know what to say man. He should shoot whoever he bought the car from. Just wow.

I was thinking this would be a short project but bit by bit it's getting longer and longer. We'll see what we find around the next corner.

The last part of my suspension bushings showed up yesterday. AtomicRex pillow ball set. They are about 200$ cheaper then OEM. Only problem is AtomicRex (Jon) isn't the greatest about communication.

Did some bushing pressing last night out with the old
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0106.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMG_0107-1.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0108.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0111.jpg |
I was looking at getting a set of those bushings for my FD, but have been so busy the car has been on the back burner. Quality seem good on them?

All the bushings are in and the car can go back on it's wheels
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0230.jpg But then i decided to pull the ABS pump since it was leaking and everything under it is nasty http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0231.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0232.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0233.jpg |
ABS unit out cleaning out under neath sadly it seems the brake fluid at a lot of the paint so i'm going to need to figure out how to respray it somehow also in the wheel well were the fluid leaked through.
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0235.jpg Running on seq i was just using caps for these holes but the caps don't seem to hold up thinking of welding them shut http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0236.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r/IMG_0237.jpg |
Much better nice and clean and powder coated
