So for those of use caravaning up from Columbia, do you think it would be possible to get to Asheville around 9? The Carolina Mazdas group is going to be there before they head off to the Dragon. I was hoping to meet up with them for a bit on Friday night.

when are you getting to columbia... it takes about 2.5 hours from here to ashville

Our biggest issue is when we both get off of work and grab our things.
Also a friend should be meeting us here as well. I'm sure if I look back through post history I could figure out all of this but I am sleepy and headed to bed. Is everyone meeting at your house?

yes! floor space for anyone who needs it...possibly a bed and futon for those willing to fight for it! or set your tent in the back yard...but no reason to spend $$ for friday night...

i would like to throw out the idea that we possibly role out to the local cruising strip and see how it is going that night...it has been dead the past 2-3 fridays because of the drop in temps, but maybe it will start to pick back up. if not, we can hit denny's for food or head back to the house and waste time until sleep. or i can show a few of the nice local roads to play on =]

Hey guys. Cola here as well with Reese, Brian and myself. I am the wild card not quite sure what time I will get off work, run home, shower and throw on clothes and grab a sleeping bag. Would you all mind letting us meet up with you since David and Julia can't make it? Also Tray can you PM your phone number to me, Reese's cell is dead. Just in case there's a reason to call.

Tray, I'll handle the photography portion of the meet. If Allen shows up from Greenville, he'll do so as well. I'll see what I can do to help with an article as well. I wrote one for the now defunct Rotary Tuner about Deal's Gap a few years ago.

the weekend is over. great time had by all.
official counts: 8 people, 6 cars. 4 FCs, 1 8, and 1 FD.

Reese got around 400 pictures. Hopefully those will get posted up within the week.
