Registration complete! Is there anything else I would have to do for entering the car show? My 84 is almost ready to roll. Granted, I won't have a new exhaust installed yet, but it'll still do awesome IMO.

Registered. I will be there this time, the money I just spent is my motivation! :D

I'm finally registered. I've been wanting to do this for a few years now and I'm finally in the country when it is happening. I can't wait.

willnordacgreen1211 02-22-2010 04:39 AM

hey ive been looking forward to this event sence i heard about it i still cant find anywhere how much it costs to get a room at the natahala place if somone here would let me stay on the floor or something that would be fine too otherwise somone PLEASE post a price for a room! thank you!!

Proxy One 02-22-2010 11:28 AM

The prices for the lodge rooms and cabins are variable, you need to call Nantahala for information on this. I think they are full up though so It might be better to just try to find someone on here that has room.

willnordacgreen1211 02-23-2010 10:16 PM

Thanks to generousity of a fellow rotary diehard and Jacksonvillian, I've secured shelter. This make the anticipation even more unbearable, though the likelyhood for bring the car diminished with each passing day. Oh well, it's really about meeting my fellow rotary-masochists anyways.

Rotary-masochists. Hmmmm. Never heard that one before. I like it.

Glad you like the comment Redhawk.

Well, Thursday was bitter-sweet. Had "the talk" with my tuner and he's very excited about the car perfromance potential. The good new was that we set the date to get the car complete and on a trailer back to me... the bad news is that it won't be in until May. Guess I'll just have to be "that guy" in the non-rotary at the back of the rally. Only consolitation is that I'll have my fuel-to-noise converter back in time for the first Mazda Driver's event at VIR in June.

Now that is so true:) I am sure we can find a way to get you into a 3 rotor FD for a spin on the Dragon.

Am I the only one for whom the term "spin on the Dragon" seems unfortunate?
