btw you have no idea, well you might, how frustrating it is to be doing a 3rd gear oull on high boost(14psi so its not even that damn high) and suddenly you hear a little baby pop and your boost drops down to 7psi because you just lost half your pressure from a .25 cent sized hole in the piping...aghaghaghaghaghagh!!!! ehh im better now....just venting lol

Ancient German secrets........ it's called just fucking do it ;) You show up at my place, we pull the y-pipe from your car, I pull the nipple off.... yeah, I'm kinky like that, I cut a piece of AL out, weld it in, bolt y-pipe back on, off ya go. Eventually I make it out to Jersey to collect block. Haven't even started on the 'vert yet, too effing busy. Like I said, I need a clone or a minion.

 we'll get it worked out. Imagine being on the dyno all day upping the boost, upping the boost, upping the boost and never getting past 11psi. :banghead: Drive home, go to sleep, wake up @ 3 in the morning saying, you fucktard!!!!! motherfucker where's my laptop.......... yup...... I left the charge relief valve open from the breakin miles, that's why she couldn't build boost.... motherfucker.

Or..... driving down the road and everytime you get into boost the turbo backspins and sounds like the meow of a dying cat becuase one vac line was pinched off (happend last week) Or doing a 3rd gear pull and it sounds like your car is farting becuase the 4ply silicone has worked it's t-bolt clamp loose and the silicone is flapping around like a porn stars abused labia.

I hate cars.............

Worst is still putting all that effort into the fuel cell and still having psi issues.... then not having time for 10 days to pop the truck, pull the stereo, and check one fucking wire :banghead:

Again, I hate cars..........

just over the winter i did a full rebuild, all new top of the line cryo treated seals, RA blacks with race springs, solid sides

engines perfect....last month..secondaries die, fix that, 2 days later first vaccum cap blows off, last friday, trans blows, 4 caps later, i still cant build boost and i sound supercharged

i now currently own 2 cars with blown transmissions

and i cant wait to see what else breaks :)

Seriously, I went from my 250ish whp Stock Turbo FC, and no I am driving a 100% Stock N/A FC, even has 3 Cats, and an Air pump, it's so god damn lethargic, at least it handles well, and stops awesome, can't wait to install the 929 Booster and Master!

helghast7 07-09-2010 04:28 PM

apparently i didnt install the rear main bearing correctly...it lasted like 4 months and 8*** odd miles and now all of a sudden it decideds to crap out...have no fear...im installing a new(used) trans this weekend

i swear my car is alive and it is a woman pms'ing permanently

helghast7 07-09-2010 04:36 PM

ohh almost forgot...if there is a positive to this whole mess..its that i will now be able to use my C.C. and my reverse lights will work :P

helghast7 07-10-2010 01:27 AM

^well they do...hook up a boost gauge to an n/a car does it ever leave vaccum?

project86 07-10-2010 02:03 AM

fair enough..........

Helghast7, The supercharged sound is likely one of the two following issues. 1. A loose clamp on one of the couplers or 2. a loose connection on the y-pipe to turbos connection pointes. The metal gaskets will make a whining/whistling sound and the two reasons above will answer why you are not seeing boost. I have seen the factory IC pipes make this same noise when they have a tiny whole but usually it is one of hte issues above.

Why? Next year it's going to have a 13B-RE nestled in it's bosom, I have a REVII exhaust I would love ton install but the cat back is 3" and the cat is not... I'm just enjoying it, get back to basics, Maybe do a few track days, and be ready for next year when it will be retarded!

i no what the noise is, we put the car on the lift for a bit

although i have been having issues with my eifini 7 pipe and vaccum caps blowing off under pressure, i have yet to have any couplers on my new setup blow off, and as stated, i have the eifini y pipe, which doesnt have connections like the usdm one

but the cap issue was fixed recently thanks to brian, ;)

the noise is actually my differential...i must have blown it doing a highway pull, and its been slowly getting worse to the point were its louder then my exhaust... and to those that have heard my car, know thats a challenge in itself

and because of that im going to put the car to sleep for the year soon, i need a break from the repairs, its just not fun right now because of it
