The Panspeed vent is huge. I could probably tear down half the longblock and remove the radiator without ever opening the hood.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant into the opening by creating air flow so that the pressure drops near the opening and forces the air under the hood to come out. :D My bad for not finishing my sentences. :)

Also, anyone got more info on GK? Thanks!

I am not sure if I understanding which lip you are referring to but the slope of the front lip portion is actually there for a purpose. That slope is aerodynamically guiding more air flow into the opening. If we cut too much of it flat, there will be less air moving into the opening.

BTW, we are not very familiar with GK products, any more info on that brand?

I MADE A PICTAR!!! to describe what I mean.

The black dotted line is close to what the GK's vent is like. Panspeed's is setup similar to the red dotted line.

The Pan Speed setup is more like this:

Well, EXCUUUUUSE the hell out of me for not liking how crappy my curves were and just straight lining everything

I would inter in either. What would be the price difference between the to hoods?

Juice 04-25-2008 10:03 AM

LoL! I just wanted to show how the vent kinda dips into the hood. I'm gonna try to stop by the body shop where my car is at today. I'll try to snap some pics of the hood if I can.

Phoenix7 04-25-2008 04:22 PM

Pics would be awesome.

When SHINE had the fenders listed they were the kind that had vents. I can't find them in their ebay store anymore though.

wheels size doesnt matter. offset and tire size does.
what size tire are you looking for?
most people run 255's under wide FG fenders, altho you can fit them under stock fenders with a lot of camber and a good offset.

i've seen a few cars with 30mm 'forsight' fenders from shine (no vents). but, i cant find any info online. i think you just have to call SAP to get any kind of real prdduct list.

I would just like to run closer tire sizes in the front and rear.

I have 18x9 +38 275s in the rear and 18x8 +38 225s in front. I don't think I need a 275 in front, just wondering if I would need a 20 or 30mm wide fender to fit my current wheel/offset.
