Well I'm on my way to MT for my cousins wedding. I started doing emissions delete before I left. It's not done. I really don't know what I'm doing haha. Just following Kevin's write up as best I can. I'll need to get more fuel line and some vacuum hose when I get back. Also... Beer in the Denver airport is $7.75 a pint.....

More expensive at Midway in Chi town. I think I paid $9 for a Stella, since the Goose Island I wanted was somewhere in the $23 range....
|
Finally back home from MT. I have the intake manifolds off doing emissions removal. So after thats done ill update.
|
So Sean (FC3SMurray) let me drive his car when i was in MT visiting.... He has put a bug in me that i might not be able to shake... so I'm just gonna leave this here .....

Got the air pump out today. Ordered some silicone vac line and some fuel line from amazon today along with the dual alt pulley from banzai. Once that stuff comes in ill get on finishing the emission removal. I really just need to get everything put back together. Im probably going to order the Atkins inserts for the 6th ports as well.
On a different note. since I've removed the rats nest are the connectors that plugged into the rack just going to be hanging out or can i remove them somehow? |
Your previous post should have read:
Got the engine out today. Ordered some packing peanuts and some heavy duty boxes from amazon today so I can ship this gutless excuse of an N/A engine out to the buyer. Once that stuff comes in i'll use the money the begin my exciting new journey. I really cant tell you how excited I am to experience these things called "reliability" and "torque". Im probably going to order an L33 and just install some very subtle and cheap top end performance components..this way I will still crack over 400rwhp and 375rwtrq without breaking the bank. On a different note. since I've removed the triangular paper weight what connectors do I keep for the body harness & as for the unnecessary ones, what is the best way to remove them? ;) This is all in good fun. Please don't pollute Kyle's thread with THE argument that always fires up after a post like this. |

I run S4 NA rotors in my car and it's hit 26psi on straight pump gas before |

S5's are higher, but no it's not too high
Plan the harness for the turbo engine and run it as an NA. There's only one extra input you need (EMAP), and one extra output (boost control) |

lol - lets not forget how many harnesses I've built in my life ;)
