Yes, and that is going 65 on the highway. The first video was at about 35 MPH. They key is to use the slotted plastic case back versus the fully covered one.

ah, nice! Does the cam come with that? or is it extra?

Thanks for your testing info! :icon_tup:

Yes, it comes with the slotted case so no need to purchase anything. Just make sure to swap it out with the one that comes on the camera.

I did order an extra battery and a 16G SDRAM card so now I can tape several hours of stuff without recharging or swapping out the SD card. Note the camera DOES NOT come with a SD card so you need to order one of these. I found a 16 SD card from Amazon:

And the extra battery came from:

Not to pour salt on the wound for anyone, but here's a good deal for the gopro from slickdeals:

That price is crazy with free shipping, I'll be calling them today to see what is the hell are they thinking :) In the meanwhile I still have 5 available for the DGRR price of $265 with an 8GB SD card included also.

Agreed. Thanks Kevin. Got a vid today on the commute and if I can get the boat in the water tomorrow I may have a few more to share ripping across the water @ 60 mph.

What about editing vids to shrink them down tt youtube size?

I use iMovie for this. Come standard with Macs and is extremely user friendly.
