Oh, ok. . Either works, unless you're using incorrect hardware but what do I know :)

FC Zach 11-13-2016 09:17 PM

Hey, your pic doesn't show.

djmtsu 11-13-2016 09:37 PM

Pic doesn't show using Firefox on my phone, but works on Chrome, and all broesers on PC. Weird.

FC Zach 11-13-2016 10:38 PM

I'm using Firefox, that is weird.

t_g_farrell 11-16-2016 12:28 PM

Using chrome and can't see pics either.

Dual Efan from a 1st gen toyota MR2 might work ok. Thats what fit in my SA with no issues.

djmtsu 11-17-2016 10:33 AM

Poof. Now they don't work for me anymore either. Damn Picasa.

Anyway, I got a fan from Charles / Johnny. Looks like it should be a winner, and slim enough to be used as a pusher.

Hey DJ. . . I've been, somewhat, "on the prowl" for something old. . . think I could creep on you at some point and check these things out? Never seen one in person. . .

FC Zach 12-04-2016 10:46 PM

Rotary bike Paul!

rotorbrain 12-05-2016 02:55 AM

No, no, no, no, no. . . I don't have THAT much time on my hands!

Anytime brother. These are the rarest of the rare for vintage Mazda rotary. Hell it's probably easier to find a Cosmo 110s than these ugly ducklings.

That being said, I do know where there are a couple in GA......

You don't have to get a full restoration project, it would be cheaper if you didn't do that.

Just a thought. . I'd like to see more out there

djmtsu 02-27-2017 10:00 AM

Update- because I'm bad at this.

Gauges installed for water temp, oil pressure
E-fan installed
Rear trunk seal 'lip' that was rusted cut out and new metal welded in
Stock steel wheels refinished

Some thing I still need to, or would like to do prior to DGRR.
- Charles is going to rebuild the carb again with his fancy new ultrasonic cleaner. Rode in his truck with the same carb cleaned this way, and holy fuck it pulls. My secondaries aren't working.
- Need a dual alternator pullet/belt
- Debating getting a rebuilt PS pump. They are cheap, and it would be nice to have since running the power box manual is a pain.
- clean up some more shit, find a way to get some tunes in her.

djmtsu 02-27-2017 10:00 AM

Oh, and cut out this catalytic converter and weld in a straight pipe. Already has 2 mufflers on it, and that's enough. lol

curiousfool 02-28-2017 09:46 AM

Thanks for the update. I am excited to see how this project turns out.

djmtsu 03-02-2017 09:15 AM

Another quick update:

My wife bought the Cosmo a new PS pump and a Banzai dual alternator pulley!

WTF??
