What happened to the idea of camping out?

Just to make sure everyone is clear on this: We are camping Saturday evening in Cherokee, NC at the Smokemont Camp ground. Anyone looking for over night accommodations in Asheville should be only making them for Friday evening. The night before the event kicks off.

yeah this is just for friday night for those with long drives to get to ashville.

i looked up the rates, days inn is $139/night, marriot is $209/night

Econolodge a minute upthe road is only $104/night

Nicole, Bryan and I (and maybe Lori if she can get off work) will take a corner to crash in if that's ok.

As for leaving Columbia around 7m, that should work out great since I'm not sure what time I'm due to get off work.

after i told my mom the prices of hotels, she was like "yeah, just have everyone come to the house, we have the space"

so no worries with hotel reservations...let me know when you get into the area and i shall show you to your home away from home for friday night...

for any of you (gianny) who wishes to camp friday night, bring your tent, you can set it up in the yard
