There will always be more days.

RoughRex 01-11-2009 03:49 PM

Doh!.. I gotta check up on here more often. Hey can can anyone spare some time for a guy with two kids under 3? I seem to be running short on that lately...

NEGATIVE!! We are now on the five year plan my friends. The wife had a V-mechanic install a bolt on contraceptive.. great for gas mileage but kinda kills horsepower....

RoughRex 01-13-2009 07:55 PM

5 years or 50,000 uhhh, "miles" whichever comes first... offer varies, consult your local certified V-Parts dealer.

lol nice...

But we bought the all new standalone V-MS. Burnt and crimped the old wiring right out... That shouldn't ever be a problem us again.

reddozen 03-10-2009 10:18 AM

Sooooo... when are we meeting up again?

Also, I sent a new guy on the other forum here. He was looking for middle TN guys, and most of us migrated here...

Herz 03-10-2009 09:58 PM

Hey, Tis the new guy.

Big thanks to Reddozen for the Invite over :)

But, Yeah. I own a Gunmetal 1988 Rx7 GXL 5sp over in Jamestown.

Glad to know I'm not alone with the Rotary

Anybody here fairly close to Jamestown?

No, seems like most of the guys are scattered in the Lavergne, Smyrna, and M'boro area. Were going to try and set up a meet every other week or so at my friends new shop on M'boro Rd.

Herz 03-11-2009 11:22 AM

Ah, Gotcha. Heres hoping I'll have work off for a M'boro meet. Would be nice to meet a couple of you guys.

Thanks again everybody :)

Good move, and yes, we need to meet up.

I will throw out two dates. Lets see what works:

Thursday March 19th 6:30 pm @ TGI Fridays
or
Thursday March 26th 6:30 pm @ TGI Fridays

IH8DSM 03-12-2009 11:18 AM

what about some place besides tgi fridays i mean the boro and smyrna have everything between the two of em as far as resturaunts go. chili's ,ihop, mexican food, etc etc just a idear

djmtsu 03-12-2009 11:27 AM

Just an FYI- If you want me to come to a meet, make it on a weekend. I don't go anywhere on weekdays except work. Sorry.

FerociousP 03-12-2009 11:38 AM

Either is good for me. I say 19th unless people need time to take off.

chilis? logans? outback?

buffalo wild wings? My vote. 1/4 mile from previous location, cheaper, and more TVs.

djmtsu 03-12-2009 11:42 AM

The ONLY way I would consider going out on a weekday is....

La Siesta or GTFO

Brent 03-12-2009 12:42 PM

I'm def. down with some La Siesta once I get back. I'm going to suggest after one of the saturday AutoX's would be a good time to meet up and go eat.

Then make a suggestion. It seems that most people like TGI. Im open, just make sure they have a good lot to park in.

We tried weekends in the beginning and found that thursdays worked better.
Toss out some dates and lets see. If it works you have to bring Amber to hang with the ladies.

RoughRex 03-12-2009 10:58 PM

I'm down for anytime as long as I don't have to work. The 7's going into the tranny shop here soon, maybe I won't have to keep picking the clutch pedal up off the floor on the way down there. :D

Herz 03-13-2009 10:22 AM

Sadly I dont think I'm going to be able to make it to the Meet's this Month :(

Getting home late today after work and getting our checks, Then headed off in the morning to get a Suzuki SV650 (Oh lord, I'm going to cheat so hard on my Sev)

Sadly I have to leave back for KY on Sunday

Welp, You guys have fun and be safe <3

reddozen 03-13-2009 02:39 PM

I get paid the 19'th, so just let me know when ever / where ever. As long as I know in advance, I can usually get away for a couple hours.

Anyone got an address for the meet on the 21st? Not 100% Yet if I get work off this week but if so I'll try my best to bring out the GXL.

Not very good at directions that way x3

How long are you guys planning on being there? I'm gonna be hosting paintball games all day in Lebanon, but might be able to show up alittle late. I was also planning on going to EOR that night, too.

FerociousP 03-17-2009 10:06 PM

I won't be there now. I will be working on my pop's altima changing out the front struts and trying to find a vibration at speed.

FC Zach 03-17-2009 11:38 PM

Well DAMN! I wont be able to make it either, just checked the work schedule and I'll be at Advance from 2-close. Oh well, some other time.

Yeah I saw about 100 cars there last Saturday night around 9 or 10. Several modded zo6 Vettes, a Supra, old and new Skylines, and a bunch of other performance oriented cars.
