Anybody happen to have a rebuildable Renesis core? I popped mine on Monday. Pretty lame, too. . . just decided to take a dump while I was pokin' up the hill on Harding next to Sam's Club. Hehe, that hill probably made it feel like it was blasting off from the Christmas tree!!!

Johnny_K 09-06-2015 08:30 AM

^did it pop in the afternoon after 5? Saw an 8 stalled on harding 1 day last wk.

rotorbrain 09-07-2015 03:46 PM

Yep. . . that was me. . . Ti Grey. I sold my hoist & stand a couple months ago at a yard sale, too.

Ouch, that sucks! I have both you can borrow, waiting on a friend to return the hoist though.

rx7 vinnie 09-08-2015 11:08 AM

Or you can pay me to do it all.....

Yeah. . . sorry man, I haven't paid someone to work on a rotary powered car in at least 15 years!

Zach - I may take you up on that offer. . . at least on the hoist. I'd have to get everything squared away so I could pull it and hand it back quickly. Gotta get my brother to get his RD350 out. Still deciding on going with another Renesis or ditching it for an REW.

That would be neat!

rx7 vinnie 09-09-2015 07:45 AM

I don't blame you... I wouldn't pay me to work on them either.

Ugh. . . I miss my FD. . .

FC Zach 09-10-2015 09:26 PM

Me too!

almoststockfc 09-11-2015 06:08 AM

I think most FD's arnt done very tastefully or they just have parts that are very mismatched and thrown together. This i actually like and would drive.

Johnny_K 09-11-2015 05:20 PM

OEM body with Shine skirts and good wheels with a drop looks so awesome also.

It's the Blue Ridge Rotary Run (B3R). . the same event I ask people about attending every year for the past five years :001_07: Some seem interested at first but never attend :( I've had only non rotary owners except for Jeff go with me.

If you like Fall colors, mountains, camping, rotaries, socializing, food, and good beer then this event is the perfect weekend getaway for you. :driving:

Only if i can come in the 3.:suspect:

rx7 vinnie 10-08-2015 06:32 PM

I'll come but not in a rotary...... Suspended insurance on the race-car and putting it on the lift for the winter and don't have the Cosmo tuned yet. 1st world problems.

FC Zach 10-09-2015 08:43 AM

I'm game! Let's go to TGIFridays sometime.

almoststockfc 10-09-2015 09:03 AM

FC Zach 10-09-2015 05:36 PM

Fri afternoon?

almoststockfc 10-12-2015 09:44 AM

Soooo friday afternoon sounds good to me

djmtsu 10-12-2015 09:51 AM

I probably can. Where? Do we have to go to a food establishment, or just go to Charles house or something?

FC Zach 10-12-2015 10:02 AM

We could have a cookout somewhere.
