simple truck - pretty good.

when we have one with a lot of options like fuel fired sleeper heaters, fuel tank heaters, auxiliary power unit hook ups - then it becomes a little more complex. We have too much variation in the cooling system to define fixed amounts of coolant to add per truck.

Most car/truck systems are vacuum filled in the factories. We have less than 6 minutes to fill a truck. The car manufactures will have much less.

I did get to mess around with LNG fuel fill today. The fill hose is braided SS. It turned white from the frost that formed on it. Guess -235 deg F is cold.

Anyways - less about my work - more about your POS. More pictures!:biggrinjester:

maybe...... Tonight might be front brakes... or I may touch myself and go to sleep

The pads went out on the Miata...not even 8 months old with just one track day on them. :banghead: Fortunately it started scraping right down the street from the house...talked to Miguel and bought some $40 street pads from Wilwood to hold me over. Before I track the car again, its getting slotted rotors and Carbotech pads. Wilwood pads suck giant floppy donkey dick!

sweet, because carbotechs are what I've been running since I swapped in the 4 pistons and I'm probably never going to use anything else... ever.

I'm a HUGE Carbotech fan...been running XP10s and XP8s in the FD for years now. Had them in my AW11 too. I used the Wilwood pads cause they came with the kit, I asked for the E-production pads. They don't feel as good on the track and absolutely suck on the street, in comparison to the XP10s.

Which compound are you running in the FD now? Cuz the lockup was quick! I need basically the weakest compound they have to give me the most modulation and highest rear bias.

I prefer XP10 front XP8 rear. In a non ABS system like you're running, either the XP10 or 8 will give you great modulation and excellent bite. 10 is good for the street and phenomenal once warmed up...8 is excellent for the street and doesn't dust as much. Don't stagger them on your setup, run the same pad between front and rear and you'll get the rear bias you're looking for.
