Yeah well..... working on rx8's takes the joy out of working on cars.... and I've got 2 more in a row before I can get on a certain FB as well.... soooooo yeah, prob wont touch the 'vert till Monday.

Working on a Rx-8 sucks in comparison to a FB the engine sits so far back and low everything is a pita to get to and the only way to do some things are from the bottom or remove half of the engine bay to see it.

The worst part of working on the rx8 is you know nothing you're doing is going to make it any faster, lol...

That is why I am not even bothering with power mods until it is out of warranty (2 years from now).

This is very true... although I did manage to strip the entire drivetrain from one yesterday in a little under 4 hrs :hurray:
Engine, harness, computer, trans, starter, driveshaft PPF.... Then I kicked it :rofl:

Don't know, don't care... it's a flood car that the owner stopped wanting to put $$$$$ into.... got sold as a roller..... rumor is it's going to be a 3 rotor drag car.... Only way to get any power out of an RX8 is to get rid of the renni
