I keep getting asked for 3 and 4 rotor applications and am in the midst of doing another design to cater for ALL rotary engines. |

Will be a while before I do another design for other engines, there is nothing as elegant and simple as what I have created, the rotor housing mount is just flat out ugly and complex. So until I refine it *somehow* will not go into production. |
I have these ex stock now. Be quick.

Loving my cop setup! My bosch timing light fits on the sparkplug perfectly without removing coil packs

I am running a 20b. I cannot get it on the rear rotor plugs but can on the front rotor and middle.

Secondary Resistance Coil/Plug
Hi Peter, as you know, ARC Duration (your correct art of Spark Duration Measurement @ 380us) states a GOOD quality of current flow, there is a requirement of the Spark Instant/Length with respect to rotor position.
Your current design has NO resistance between the coil/plug. The addition of a resistor there WILL increase Arc Duration, I good thing for CDI style ignition. Would it be possible to add a small resistor inline ? I truly would like you to achieve best performance from the IGN-1CD (early) coil. Lance |

BAS Hybrid = 6.5 KW
Hi ALL, I am here to be of help, I see little interest here in the Spark Duration requirement.
This requirement is stated by Ricardo = 30-36 degrees of crankshaft rotation. I believe they have not tested the Rotary. This application is one of TWO plugs WITH offset firing of each plug. Thus MORE important with the Rotary, the Arc Duration. Any Comments ? Lance, BTW my Alternator is up to eight HP output. |
