I was about to say they've changed their exhaust line-up since my presilencer didn't look like any of those from the "complete systems". My presilencer looks like this:
http://www.racingbeat.com/images/ite...x280/16405.jpg

But after searching a little more I remember now. . . I was a poor Advance Auto part-time employee and couldn't afford the full kit so I purchased parts individually (cat-back and presilencer), the header believe it or not was a gift from a group of friends that all pitched in and surprised me for my birthday (will never forget that, was one of my favorite gifts ever!). The complete system is a way better design, I'd go that route. .

In other news, I'm almost finished with my precision AR project, only took me six years but it's almost there :)

A couple small things and a quality scope and I'll be done with it. Quality scopes aren't cheap though. .

Good glass ain't cheap...... Ask me how I know..... (Whispers...... Lots of canon L lenses)

FC Zach 04-23-2016 07:02 AM

You are correct, some of those cost more than the camera!

project86 04-23-2016 07:22 AM

We should all go in together and buy 240B. That would be. Good ole time.

Johnny_K 04-23-2016 07:38 AM

Getting new tires put on the car right now. Guy delivered it without the stock wheels so I have some crap American racing wheels on it right now. He says he'll meet me half way in a couple weeks to get them to me though.

FC Zach 04-24-2016 08:13 PM

Congrats man!

chibikougan 04-25-2016 01:10 AM

Good news is we got her home with no issues. Had one scare about an hour and a half from home. I was in 5th and accelerated a bit and it cut power twice. I'm not really sure what happened. We stopped for gas shortly after that and never had another issue. The engine runs great. It has plenty of power and revs just fine. He exhaust has to go though. It's some hack job done piece that's super loud and vibrates a bunch.

Lol the car definitely isnt going to stay stock. Not mechanically at least. I don't really want do anything with the body besides paint and wheels.

TitaniumTT 04-25-2016 10:21 AM

And build your own exhaust, just don't use Borla mufflers

I think I just want the Racing Beat mufflers. I thought about just buying the whole system from the header back.

TitaniumTT 04-25-2016 10:36 AM

Pricey. I could see doing that, and then cutting all the flanges off and welding in some V-Bands :D

Not sure what type of optic you are looking for but if cheap is your game and you like red dots, I have a Primary Arms Micro Dot on a UTG brand QD riser that I love so far. The dot is 2 MOA and seems a little big at longer range but I have no trouble drilling a 5in x 5in target at 100yards and acquisition is PDQ.

Excuse all the acronymns!

My red FC is rotting at my dad's shop... lol

I don't mind spending money on a quality scope (that fits my needs) especially since I've put this much time in the rifle so far, I suppose I can save for the one I want. Never been a big fan of red dots, just not my preference. I have GG&G back-up irons I'll use till I can afford a scope. I must say I'm very proud of these irons. . . I've hit consistent 300yrd shots consecutively on a foot wide target :). I've been window shopping a lot lately for the right scope but there are so many options.

Any certain one you're looking for? I may have one from Robert, I'll look next time I'm under the house.

It's no big deal. They are so cheap I can just order them. I don't want it to be a hassle. s5 apparently only uses 2 anyway.

Dude, they are like $30 new from Mazdatrix. http://mazdatrix.com/in-colmn.htm

Or I can call Myles and see what he can get.

I have a 91 with black interior in the Clarksville area at my dad's shop... Not worth putting back together, so may as well part it out for the most part.

I also have a Jspec T2 rear diff with LSD and 2 sets of T2 axels.
