That's awesome. As long as the lift fits.

You are probably the first person to # on the forum.

Cryptic, and annoying.

I live in SE Rutherford county, near the Joe B Jackson exit. Buy lots of land near me so I can hide cars there :)

rx7 vinnie 04-28-2016 11:23 AM

Lol. I'd live next door to you just for the Lolz.

FC Zach 04-29-2016 06:47 AM

Look two replies up from yours, you asked earlier.

I can't go anyways.

project86 04-29-2016 07:06 AM

Zach... or anyone for that matter. Did any of you relocate the battery to the passenger side storage bin? Does someone make a kit for it or did you DIY? I looked for a kit but have only found FD ones.

I did my own for the Celica. . .

-Buy 4/0 gauge cable from a welding supply store (good quality fine strand stuff) -Get a ~150amp circuit breaker, here's where I got mine https://powerwerx.com/resettable-cir...fyk9gqod1niljq
-Battery clamps for the cable (if interested I'll give you part numbers)
-For the engine bay, I used this: https://www.mrsupply.com/ilsco-insul...btd-3-250.html

If you need more info let me know.

That was in response to two comments, not the order. . .

project86 04-29-2016 08:24 AM

Did you relocate in the FC too or no?

FC Zach 04-29-2016 08:25 AM

Nope

FC Zach 04-29-2016 09:42 AM

Si senor!

TitaniumTT 04-29-2016 11:06 AM

Relocate battery response.

4/0 is a monster cable.... I would suggest 2ga from ProWireUsa.com seriously nice shit.
There are also butt connectors available from WayTek wire although what I do and it works really well is run the 2ga from the battery to a circuit breaker, to a bulkhead connector at the firewall.

https://www.waytekwire.com/item/4720...Stud-Red-250A/

From there it goes to the starter, the alt, and on the FC's it goes to the long JCase fuse block

You don't think 2ga is too small? Then again I used 4/0 to get the most out of my little PC680 and from a further distance. . .

TitaniumTT 04-29-2016 11:43 AM

Nope, Looking at the A rating, 2 is fine.

TitaniumTT 05-09-2016 01:17 PM

Who's got an S4 front harness they no longer need?

project86 05-09-2016 01:53 PM

Anybody know of a good write up or vid tutorial on taking out the cold start assist, 3k warm up and thermal pellet? Or maybe we can all get together soon and a few of you can assist me in doing it all? I have BOPs to do too.

The one that i have is hacked up for parts. I thought there was another s4 but no. Do you need the whole thing or something specific?

I think I may have it, there was one hanging under the house but I wasn't sure what it was. . I'll look to see if I still have it.

TitaniumTT 05-10-2016 08:24 AM

Cheers guys. Really appreciate it.
Yeah, need the whole thing. Adding AC back into the FC and my front harness has been modded so many times for different things at this point it would be easier to start with an unmodified one, move the main fuse block, re-wire the headlights, etc etc
We had an FC at the shop that was destined for the crusher and I stripped every harness out of it so I have one, just don't want to use it..... yet... if I don't have to

reddozen 05-10-2016 08:43 AM

I have an S5... lol

almoststockfc 05-10-2016 09:23 AM

DJ should have the one out of that crusty ass blue car that we pulled the motor out of for his cosmo. I think that car was a SE so idk if it came with AC or not.

TitaniumTT 05-10-2016 09:33 AM

Hmmmmmmm.... interesting... I'll have to text his ass.
My car was originally an SE as well. All the provisions were there for the power windows and mirrors and crap like that.

JL1RX7 05-10-2016 11:38 AM

How much of the wiring did they change between 4 and 5? I would think those harnesses couldn't be much different.
