Connectors are totally different

JL1RX7 05-10-2016 11:50 AM

But the number of wires is all the same. Been awhile since I was under the hood of an S4. Need to get another one here sooner than later.

TitaniumTT 05-10-2016 12:01 PM

maybe, probably not because auto seatbelts and ABS and that sort of shit.

Car has A/C, but no PS. So that should work for you.

TitaniumTT 05-10-2016 12:10 PM

:awesome: Yes, yes it will..... PS will be a third gen MR2 unit controlled via MoTeC because baller

JL1RX7 05-10-2016 12:26 PM

I would think that would only apply to the vert under the hood. And if I recall correctly the air bags have a separate harness.

Stealing my plans now huh!? lol

TitaniumTT 05-10-2016 09:05 PM

HA! You're stealing my plans!!!!

reddozen 05-10-2016 10:56 PM

It's only been in my sig for like a year or more...

Was originally going to do it to a MK1, but the MK3 is like 300lbs lighter...

Looks like it's a race now ;)

rx7 vinnie 05-10-2016 11:55 PM

I got a hundo on the white guy.....

almoststockfc 05-11-2016 06:48 AM

TT - What model AIM dash do you have?

TitaniumTT 05-11-2016 09:56 AM

I think it's the Strada. love it!

Ah, Brian's talking about a rotary swap for his yota, I'm talking about using the powersteering pump from a yota to run my 15:1 rack... controlled via MoTeC

project86 05-11-2016 12:05 PM

I'm starting to get a little suspicious that I'm gonna get stiffed on getting the stock wheels for the car from the guy. So if anyone knows where I might be able to get a set of S5 turbo wheels let me know.

OHHHH... yea, that's a popular swap... lol I would do the same thing.

Zach,
If it's a race... Brian wins. His wallet and skill level is a lot larger than mine. lol

I finally remembered to get some pics of the harness I have. Is this what you need (not sure what series this is)?

TitaniumTT 05-20-2016 11:34 AM

That looks like an S4 but it's the engine harness... not the front chassis harness :(

Thanks Zac

Hey, ever get your car on a dyno?

FC Zach 05-20-2016 11:48 AM

Nope, still tinkering with the intake set-up and completing the heat shield. However, I did test drive yesterday with only the fresh air duct that feeds off the brake duct. . . That alone dropped the AITs 25°!

TitaniumTT 05-20-2016 11:52 AM

Damn! That's a good decrease! So now to see how it really works after completion is stuff a rag in there to block off the airflow and go for a cruise and log some shit. Few miles around something familiar.
Remove rag and go for the same cruise and see what happens.
I actually just ditched the headlight vent thingy that I built all those years ago... I figure the meth will cool more than the ambient air so who gives a rats ass
Done in the name of WAY MOAR BETTER LIGHTING!!!

FC Zach 05-20-2016 12:19 PM

Yep, going to do that and see what difference I get and if it will justify getting a dual outlet scoop.

I smell what you're cooking!

TitaniumTT 05-26-2016 08:41 AM

Dates of Up?

DJ - When are you driving that Cosmo up to CT to bring my new harness and leave with your seats?

project86 06-01-2016 08:31 PM
