First I'd like to thank this forum for allowing another avenue to tell folks of this ... In the beginning .... the Vegas 8's started this a couple years back, this year they are joining forces with SinCityRotary a sizebale group of rotary owners and enthusiasts, we proudly refer to ourselves as "more then a car club" as a very supportive family like group. This event has grown and continues to do so. It's going to be a fun battle of how many 8's or how many 7's or can the home team in Las Vegas represent the largest number of attendess. This event is open to all rotary vehicles Date of the meet: June 18th and 19th, 2010 Friday evening gathering: In & Out Burgers on West Sahara Friday evening party: Presently looking for the least expensive kart track that has food. Will announce final location when I have a deal after which a close place for drinks will be in order. Saturday drive meet point: In & Out Burgers on West Sahara 10am Saturday evening party: Hoffbrahause , Las Vegas, 7pm Rooms will be available at discounted rates thru @!!narotordo For the ones that want to stay off the strip: I just confirmed I can do coned off parking! You will not lose your spot unless another 8 takes the spot lol How it works: Cone in spot. Remove cone and park. Place cone behind car. When you leave the spot place a cone there so no one piston takes your spot. Our back lot is now walled in by a 10' brick wall with tons of light and the security guard is a ex RX-8 owner. PM me for room info "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS MEET 2010" You heard the stories, read the threads, seen the youtube videos. You know you want some! SinCityRotary Members don't hesitate to say your coming so your accounted for in the running headcount and if anyone needs help with their Rotary as we get closer just speak up. We are posting early so that you can set this time aside. If you know your coming, let us know so we can plan. To those of you that have not attended a Las Vegas meet, The over view will be: Friday June 18th, 6pm - 8pm a general meet at the In & Out burger parking lot that will move to a place of libation and food at around 9am thru ?. Saturday June 19th at 10am we will meet in a place yet to be announced for a drive in the Las Vegas area. The drive is usually about two hours in length and will end at a local Hotel for lunch. There will be a several hour break for rest, recreation and sight seeing. The party group (all that wish to attend) will meet at the Hoffbrahause for beer, food and friendship from 7pm until ? This years drive will be close in to Las Vegas and will be on all paved roads (unless the state or county do their thing again this year), some narrow roads and some twisty roads and some freeway. There will be one spot (again this year) that will require a $5 entry fee (nothing is free anymore). The weather will again this year be very warm but not blazing hot (yet). Be sure you carry drinking water, a hat, vehicle water and oil. BLACK HALO RACING has generously offered to sponsor remembrances of this event. crap we are going to get out number by the 8's this is appareantly becoming a big deal on the 8 site, there is word the thread may be moved to gain national exposure :(

DAMMIT I really wish I could go to this. I really miss living in Vegas and I'd love to just drive out there to hang out with old friends and meet new rotary friends. Sadly though, I will be deployed. Have fun!!

down to 1 month people ... anyone thats not on the list that should be speak up as there are a limited supply of custom mugs as well as shirts with event artwork on the back. As well as the activities. We are currently looking at 70 rotarys and over 100 people and these numbers can spike as the locals speak up

i think I should be able to make this I was supposed to go to vegas these dates anyway so hopefully its still in the works

Well reckon not many more takers at this point as it seems a great number of ya'll are back East, will be sure to post pics and possiably video. Then perhaps more may wanna join us next year .... wooohoo.
