I'll be doing the cabin this year. I'm setting it at $70 and will adjust down the road after we see how many actually show up (like I did last year).

My Paypal is rdesalvo84 at hotmail.com . If you send it as a Personal - Payment Owed transfer it shouldn't charge a fee. Cash will work too, although Paypal would be easiest. If you pay by check, there's an additional $25 jackass fee. :icon_tup:

It's first come first served for the Queen beds. I would like to have some people willing to share King beds as 1 person on them would be ridonckulous.

I'm going with the two floor lodge thing (Adler on the pool table) from a couple years ago. It's both floors, 4 bedrooms 4 baths. 2 K, 4 Q beds and 1 sleeper sofa (along with other sofas and 2 pool tables). http://nvnc.com/lodging_specs.php?intid=6

This is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Do I really even need to answer that question! I'm there like a hair on a biscuit!

djmtsu 11-12-2010 03:10 PM

Do you have any idea how much I hope we go back to Fontana???

Then we really can go back to Cabin 1016.

Either way, I'm in it to win it.

of course

I'm going for sure... not sure about what cabin yet. depends on if the GF goes. If she goes, then she'll want her own room. That may force us to get our own cabin of sorts. We'll see how things play out. If she doesn't go, I could sleep on the floor for all I care.

IH8DSM 11-12-2010 09:23 PM

I'm in it like prom night

willnordacgreen1211 11-15-2010 06:04 AM

well i missed it last year but i plan on comming this year. count me in

IH8DSM 11-15-2010 06:21 PM

warning label for cabin, dont be affended by male nudity, heavy drinking, loud noises, incoherent babblings, male bonding ( both no homo and homo)

Who would do such a thing:uhh:

My5ABaby 11-16-2010 02:58 PM

Btw, I don't mind doing the reservations again this year. As of now I think it shouldn't be a problem to cover it.

FC Zach 11-16-2010 08:35 PM

Cool, its either you or DJ (I think it starts over now).

willnordacgreen1211 11-17-2010 12:26 AM

this seems to be going in the correct direction for a large gathering of rotards in the mountains. im pumped!

FC Zach 11-17-2010 01:42 AM

This year if I pass out early, I'll be sure to go down wearing a scuba diving suit. Not to keep warm, but to have as a Sharpie repellent. :o21:

And for this year, Rotary Vehicle+Air Mattress will no longer be needed as I have purchased a Bad Ass cordless Mattress pump! although I imagine it was a trip to see us inflate beds w/ exhaust tips and 3,000+ RPMs

You had to be there, it was fairly epic. I can't believe we don't have any video.

I have a pretty decent HD pocket cam now, so this year should be interesting!

willnordacgreen1211 11-19-2010 05:05 AM

damn im pumped for this trip! saving up starts now b/c i want to have a nice camera before i got to the dragon again. cell phone pics dont do justice at all.

IH8DSM 11-19-2010 12:52 PM

Are we thinking the cabin will be about 80 bucks again? Also we need to make sure we can get into this one,I know park and I are ordering our re speed suspensions after Xmas and that drop off won't be fun in slammed cars

80 bucks would be what I would start with if we go NVNC again. As for getting into this one, I can ask the staff but there's no way to know without actually going there. I'm not sure there is a good one at NVNC...

My5ABaby 12-10-2010 11:51 AM

I don't recall, how was this one for parking/driveway?

someone does have a video i just don't remember who

count me in as well... i couldn't miss it

djmtsu 12-10-2010 12:23 PM

That one is easily accessible. We stayed there the year that Adler had to swap trannys in the lot.

FcRx8MEL 12-10-2010 12:41 PM

Yea that's when we had the top floor... pool table = Adler's bed but no hot tub :( and Jeff and Zach jumped in the 1st floor's hot tub and got caught... so go for the bottom floor if you decide on that one to keep everyone out of trouble..... ok so that's not possible but at least we'd have a hot tub again

My5ABaby 12-10-2010 01:40 PM

I remember the cabin (I slept on the two chairs and coffee table put together), I just couldn't recall where it was.

djmtsu 12-10-2010 01:59 PM

Right behind the main lodge, up that hill on the right side. It only has 2 bedrooms though. so unless the top and bottom can be reserved at a low price, it might not be feasible.

My5ABaby 12-10-2010 02:36 PM

There's not many 4/5 bedroom choices.

1. That one,
2. Last year,
3. The year Greg got in the hot tub
4. "Top of the Mountain" - good luck with our cars on the roads leading to that...
5. Spring Ridge - not sure where that one is but I think it's off site

djmtsu 12-10-2010 04:06 PM

Last year's cabin wasn't too bad. Paul and I are discussing getting both floors of the previous cabin. It would require a quick booking after Phil lets us register.

I thought the road to last year's was fine. I only scraped once getting onto the main road and my car is pretty low. I vote whichever is cheaper...

IH8DSM 12-10-2010 10:37 PM

Yea whichever works for me, are those the only larger cabins?

My5ABaby 12-10-2010 10:43 PM

I believe so.

FcRx8MEL 12-12-2010 08:21 PM

super lame...even if the one that's 2 floors is a little more expensive if its the only one left i think it'd be cheap enough when split up between the 15ish people that usually go anyways

My5ABaby 12-14-2010 10:41 AM

5 Bedroom
A. Moonlight Reflections
B. Spring Ridge

4 Bedroom
C. End of the Ridge (last year)
D. Mountain Suites (Adler on the pool table with the Canadians below us)
E. Nyrapacha (At the top of the mountain - Greg in the hot tub - 4(?) years ago)
F. Top of the Mountain (Really high up)

The prices seem to be pretty much the same between all of them. I'm pretty sure both of the 5 bedrooms are way off site.

I vote C or D.

djmtsu 12-14-2010 12:45 PM

I vote for C again.

My5ABaby 12-14-2010 12:49 PM

I thought last years was good because it was 4 bedroom + the guest house thing.

However, when I booked it I wasn't supposed to get the group discount on it because it wasn't owned by NVNC but managed to (albeit slightly less of a discount). I guess it's kinda dependent on price too. For now let's just vote independent of price.

And to clairfy on choice D, I'm putting that up as if we'll have all 4 bedrooms (both floors).

FcRx8MEL 12-14-2010 01:34 PM

I agree. I'd rather pay a little more and not have to drive all the way up the mountain. I personally like the location of the 2 floor on from 2 years ago best

IH8DSM 12-14-2010 02:35 PM

Yea I'm kinda fond of d as well seemed like we weren't as of the beaten path and could just Saunders around

Aka Adler could drunkenly walk down to the car show and main lodge rather than having to drive

You just miss the pool table and we all know it.
