yea... I noticed that. not sure if it's the zipcode, or just google being wonky...it's close to your town though...

EDIT:
yea, it's google being wonky... it doesn't quite center on your town when you google map it by zipcode.

Pete_89T2 01-03-2011 01:49 PM

Looks like it's locating you at the post office for your zip code, at least it is for my town.

yea, as long as it's close...
I didn't want it pointing to people's actual homes.

The map was tricky to make... especially with the different markers.

Pfft, google. There's 5 or 6 zipcodes in my town, it seems to be geographically centering the zipcode though.

Yeah, I think it is step7 in the registration process.

Brian, we will be there I think Bill is coming, but he has another trip in that timeframe also. I have multiple rotarys to drive/backup plans. my 8 is doing OK but I'm waiting on connectors for my coils to fix a misfire CEL and still doing break-in miles.

Proxy One 01-03-2011 05:26 PM

yea, it's apparently centering the map location based on the zip code... next year I will ignore the zip code.

Viperx7 01-04-2011 02:27 AM

Registered yesterday but still no confirmation email.

Kane 01-04-2011 04:06 AM

As soon as I get my leave approved, I will register.

Is Steve doing a tuning class out there again? If not, maybe we can set up a Cobb one for the 8 guys? Something to think about if there is interest.

Herblenny 01-04-2011 07:19 AM

I've emailed Mr. Amemiya. Couple of years ago, he was interested in coming to DGRR event but with GT300 schedule he was unable to come. I didn't ask 2010 because I couldn't be involved as much with the new kid and such. So, I asked again to see....

If he says 'yes', any of you interested in helping out with their travel expense (2 people)?? Most likely we need to raise some where around 2 to 3000. What we will do is have a banquet exclusively for those who helped out.

All this is if he says yes... so, don't get your hopes up :)

Next person I might ask will be owner of FEED :)

darthrotary 01-04-2011 08:57 AM

MUAHAHAHAHA! I am IN!
So Looking forward to this :) Will be my 6th time!

I don't have a lot, but I'm willing to pitch in some money. It would be awesome to talk to someone like him.

I'll make an email recovery form on the site tonight for those that aren't getting the email. I'm not sure why it's not sending the email to some people... Check your spam folders? I'll test the IPN again to see if it's sending it.

My5ABaby 01-04-2011 10:34 AM

I did indeed find it in my spam folder which is very weird. You may want to change the email subject from "No Reply".

Great to know... glad you have it.

Check your spam folders everyone!

I'll change it to be something other than "no reply".

Viperx7 01-04-2011 11:58 AM

I checked mine after it wasn't in my Inbox, it's not in there.

Check your PMs. You should have what you need there.

2gslse 01-04-2011 01:06 PM

Nothing in my spam folder or inbox either the PM would fix any issues regarding e-mail filters for most people.

I can't automate PMs into the forums... I dont have access to that and no way to ensure links to people's username.

I don't get why most people are getting the emails and few aren't.

I'll look up your info an PM you a link.
