oil pan braces

I have a few oil pan braces ready to ship . These have the groove milled in them so the actually put pressure on the rail .

blwnrtr93 04-05-2008 10:13 AM

What's the cost on these? Nevermind. I just found the thread where you are bringing some to the Gap.

glenrx7 04-06-2008 04:03 PM

Bump, for a good product we have been using these for our customer engines.

blwnrtr93 04-15-2008 09:56 AM

Garfinkles Motor Works 06-23-2008 08:54 PM

The price for the oil pan brace and the engine torque brace is ( each ) $ 125 if you send me a check or for Pay pal ,through Dubulup on the other forum is $ 130 .

Twisted7 07-02-2008 12:09 AM

Do you still have some left?

Garfinkles Motor Works 07-17-2008 04:29 AM

Yes I have a few, Speed For Sale may have some as well .

Brent 08-05-2008 03:23 AM

This is a great product!!! I run it on my silver FD and will be picking one up for my red one when I finally pull the engine.

David, I never did have a chance to get the measurements on the engine torque brace before I left , but I'm hoping to when I am home for 2 weeks in October... will that be an issue? Thanks!

Brent

Oil pan braces are ready to send out ,11-06-08

dregg100 11-24-2008 12:00 AM

question: if my engine has a full oversized guru stud kit(machined block) would it be a waste of money to put one of these on?

Garfinkles Motor Works 12-02-2008 10:03 AM

If you are using the stock oil pan with drilled out holes then the brace is for you .The holes have made the pan rail weak and the brace willimprove things .The holes in the brace will to be drilled out as well .The brace is 3/16 thick and will still reinforce the pan to keep it from distorting .

AzEKnightz 02-07-2009 01:17 PM

Will this work well with stock oil pan and no modifications (I have a leakage >.<) Please let me know for I will paypal once confirmed. Thanks in advance.

p.s. Please pm for I dont check the forum alot nowadays. Thanks again.

Garfinkles Motor Works 02-08-2009 05:20 AM

Pm to you and yes this will work on stock pans .Most people have stock pans ,some with studs and nuts . The groove cut in my brace is the feature that lets the brace do its job ,with out the groove the brace will not contact the pan rails width fully.

fire85gslse 04-21-2009 08:05 PM

These are a great brace. Once I installed mine I understood why this is the better brace out there.
Man, am I lucky to have a friend like David living so close to me and makes great products for my RX7's

mc-don 08-08-2009 02:54 PM

Red Baron 05-17-2010 03:55 PM

Very much interested in one, how much and where do I send money???
Also what does the kit include and where can I see one??? PM or email me: red93r2@sbcglobal.net

Garfinkles Motor Works 05-17-2010 06:29 PM

They are $125 includes shipping $129 paypal .Includes high grade longer pan bolts (19) and longer motor mount bolts (6) . This is the only one with a milled groove to clear the pinch rail on the stock pan,so full presure is applied to the pan .

speedjunkie 01-23-2011 02:50 PM

I want to pick up one of these. What is your paypal?

Garfinkles Motor Works 01-24-2011 06:18 AM

garfinklemw@gmail.com

lwnslw 02-06-2011 10:41 PM

Anyone have pics ??

Garfinkles Motor Works 02-07-2011 03:13 AM

I think Howard Coleman does ,he uses them on the engines he builds .This is the only brace with a milled groove to fit over the pans pinch rail so full pressure is given across the rail .I drill the two missing holes in the late model pans and use all 19 ( included ) 6mm bolts .I notch the motor mount to clear the new bolt head . The motor mount bolts and the oil level sensor o-ring come with it as well .

Bluewind 03-05-2011 09:27 PM
