Caravan from ATL to NVNC

People from AL, MS, LA, FL, and GA will meet up and go up as a HUGE caravan.. I'm guessing 50+???

Date: Thursday April 19th, 2012.

Time: 11AM to 2:30PM - Depart at 2:30. We'll have 1 or 2 stops along the way so people could catch up and get gas or something..

Meeting place:
Sydney's Buffet - 2131 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA
Some people will eat here from 11 to 2PM

parking lot should hold 100+ cars around the shopping area..

There's easy access to I-985N, everyone can stay together (no traffic light, nor turning left to get on the interstate). If anyone is interested, there are several place to eat right there; Ichiban - Asian buffet, Stevie B's - Pizza buffet, Golden Corral - buffet, Mexican Restaurant, Sony's Bar-BQ. Also many other places back toward the Mall of Georgia that you could eat, then meet up at this location.

Holly, Might be flying Sam into the ATL and Edd and me joining for the caravan. Still trying to work it all out.

I don't see why we cant stop by the walmart after the initial meet up in Atlanta. Its a good time to stock up on food, and the view from that parking lot beats any other walmarts, anywhere. I can't believe its still 2 MONTHS away!!:banghead:

Ian, just let me know if you'll be here Wednesday night, there's room at the Rotary Inn.
Sephitrask, Thanks, hopefully we can all re-group there and leave in one Monster Caravan, especially for the local ATL people who may not be dining with the others. Can't wait - it will be here in no time.

^Holly....Glad to hear that you'll be going.

I know in past years we've stopped at a Wal-Mart about halfway or so to DGRR to load up on road beers and hit the restroom. But, that is a good meeting place with the variety of restaurants nearby.

Can't wait!
