Middle Tennessee DGRRXII Caravan
 

Its that time again to get the caravan details figured out. I had to start this since the ATL guys have their own thread, and they cannot win...except in drinking games....maybe...SOCIAL!!

I know Paul and I are leaving work around noon on Thursday April 19th. (well, I am leaving at 11:00am).

We plan to meet again at exit 89 on I-24 Southeast of Murfreesboro at the Shell station on the south side of the exit.

From there we will gather, fuel up, get snacks and start the voyage. I assume we will take the same path as usual. I24 to Chatt, North on I75 to Cleveland, then Eastbound and Down on 64/74 all the way to Nantahalla.

Anyone coming from West of Middle Tennessee is free to join us. No drama queens. If you need to pull over every time you hear a squeak, we will leave you behind :D

Maybe we should also discuss food/beverage situations prior to the event as well. I would like to make breakfast one morning (simple eggs, bacon, etc.). And I hope Jason and Madras the grill king/queen are going to show up!!

SUPRISE!.. I can again supply an overabundance of meat if you like DJ... the wife and I got registered late so we are in a cabin at nantahala's other resort 12 miles away :(

The problem that made it break down in the first place was a defective fuel pump, I exchanged it and the car started right up. As far as the front end damage goes, I haven't done a damn thing. I just sent Charles a PM about a bumper cover and I have an idea about the frame brace, we shall see.....

Pretty sure Charles/Adler both have bumper covers. I can get you an S5 cover in a horrible gold color if you want :D

Not sure what Neals plans are at this point, but I think he may be stopping by my place and dropping the Explorer and trailer, and taking one of my Rotaries. It could be that he could travel with you and jeff.

What time are yall planning on heading out Friday? That may be more feasible for me.

Jeff gets off work that Friday morning at or around 6:30. He said to me that he's leaving once he's out of work.

Bump. So yall still shooting for leaving Spring Hill at 8ish? I am debating whether I will leave real early on the 20th from Memphis and meet yall or whether I will head over the night of the 19th and stay at my parents place in Manchester...then just catch yall on the highway as you all pass by.

Yeah I wish I could go Thursday, but it is not feasible for the fiance and I to both take off two days work.
