Aluminum oil filler neck

Im wondering if anybody knows where I could get an aluminum oil filler neck that ISNT Re-speed.

Specifically I'm looking for somewhere that will:
A) actually send me the product after I pay for it
B) answer a phone call or email a month after I have paid for it and it still hasnt been shipped out
C) not require me to file a PayPal claim

Thanks

I have a zeeshan oil filler neck, but I don't think they are made any longer.

Perhaps someone could replicate it? I could look into to doing so but I am not sure as to the time frame. probably not soon at all due to finishing up my custom thermostat housing adapter.... which came out WAY bigger than I had hoped. Just trying to be honest.

If you could get a price and a time frame for you to replicate it I would probably be interested

Edit: except not the timeframe part because you already said you were unsure lol

I am going to be starting on making a new version soon. I don't like the slightly imperfect fit of the flange on my current one.

Please PM me when you make the oil filler neck.

I will be doing a group buy. Probably out of stainless, but might be aluminum. depends on availability of parts.

Monkman33 09-26-2013 05:13 PM

Update.

I have all the materials.

Trust me. These things are going to be trick!! I took the existing design that's out there and made some realreally nice cosmetic improvements. Plus, being made out of stainless, they can be coated or polished.

the spyder 09-26-2013 05:18 PM

Were you able to find a pre-made cap/threaded neck? It's what I have used in the past and it dropped the price significantly.

Monkman33 09-26-2013 05:24 PM

None that I liked the look of.

So I am having some made up that look badass. I know the price is a bit higher than most, but it will be completely worth it.

I am also making sure the factory cap works.

If there is enough interest, I may be able to have some aluminum caps made up.

the spyder 09-26-2013 05:33 PM

Cool, I did not notice the stainless part- I wish I had clear coated the aluminum on mine- ended up pretty dirty after a few track days.

Prototype is done. I partnered up (with a yet to be mentioned rotary company) to get costs back down to be able to hit the retail mark of just over $200.

There should be much more information available next week.
There will be a large quantity available.

These things look sweet!!

Check with IRPerformance.

Monkman33 11-09-2013 12:18 PM

^^correct. I hope it doesn't deter people that I partnered up, but I just knew there would be more interest than up front capital I could supply. So we found a sweet spot in cost/quantity of the 4 different machined parts.

Interested in this as well. I need to look into doing an oil catch can setup so this would be one mod that would go along it.

Is this a cosmetic upgrade or is there an issue with stock pieces? I ask because I am a FNG on the FD so please be gentle.

Monkman33 11-18-2013 10:33 PM

The one I just finished is both an aesthetic upgrade and serves a purpose. The stock unit doesn't work if you use the xcessive lower intake manifold.

There is a group buy on the 'other' forum under "group buy center" for these. Choice of single -10 port or a dual -6. I will see about posting up all the info on this forum.

Post it up Nathan.... There is a section specific for Group Buys so have at it.
Cheers

Just so there's no confusion here... this is all sarcasm and should be in teal... but teal is hard to read...

Kisses Rich and thanks for the link... I'm hoping Nathan will copy/paste here as well.

Oh, and here are a couple pictures of the flange fitment:

Also, the hardware will be plated and flanged like the ones in the pictures. I also want to note that the o ring holds itself into its groove, making install a snap.

Final design pieces are being shipped tomorrow for fit test IRP's final blessing.
After that, production and shipping starts.
