I work in Ballston, but drive my Jeep pretty much every day. Sometimes I'll drive the 8 in, but the 7 stays at home since its not running, lol.

We were going to do it this weekend coming up but now the weather doesn't seem to be favoring us.

Gas prices are HORRIBLE for me - the 8 is up to $4.22/gal now! Luckily my GF drives it to work and they pay for her gas :)

It looks like we may need to push a meetup date to later in june, possibly the 14th/15th. I'll send you a PM as soon as we get it finalized so you can let your group know about it.

TheCVMC has a meet scheduled @ Sherando Lake State Park off of the Blue Ridge Parkway July 12th, you guys wanna pencil that in?

Nope, thats Matt, but we have the same car. Usually we are parked near each at the meets. He has done a few things to his. Unlike mine which is close to bone stock.

FC. I'm in the process of restoring it. I'm off the 522 and work up in gainesville during the weekdays.

Ah - I'm from Culpeper (my parents are still there). I live in Sterling now, but come to culpeper on weekends from time to time.

What kind of FC are you restoring?

I have a build up thread on here... unfortunatly I just have a link to my first portion of restoration on the other forum. I just secured a turbo for my NA though :reddevil: :D

Alright... so do any of the Culpeper people want to meet up at some point? I have family coming in this weekend but I imagine I could remove myself from them for an hour or two. So... Who's in? Don't worry about what your car looks like, I asure you mine looks worse :p

I was actually in Culpeper this weekend - I even drove the 8 down which is rare. I hardly drive the car ('04 w/37K miles on it).

I'd be down for meeting up - I know Chris could swing out in an FB and Jon could bring his RX8 out...

I won't be able to do it this weekend, but the weekend after next I can do it. I'm thinking the parking lot outside of target might work out nicely. That's pretty centralized I think, and there's usually not a whole lot of people there (unlike walmarts).

I'll get the guys together and see what they have going on in the next few weeks. I know they'll be at a wedding the second week of August.... this weekend is no good, but the next weekend should work...

Alright, we can aim for that I think--I may have to goto alexandria one of those days, but I'll figure it all out... We just might have to do this sooner rather than later since I'm heading back to Blacksburg on the 19th. Not exactly a wide window of opprotunity.

I'll actually be down this Saturday night and staying with my buddy Jon. We can slide out there at Target, but it'd be kind of later - say around 9:30 to 10. Would that work?

Also, there's a guy at the advanced store that apparently has a 94 FD. Swapped in a RB20DET, which is respectable.

Not to sound, well, like a dick - its never respectable IMHO to swap a piston motor into any RX model vehicle. Of course, he is more than welcome to join us - but I'm a purist, lol.

I'll let the others know, lets just say 10pm in case people are running late.
