Here is a shot of the place I call home for a few days of the year. With friends, beautiful senecery, and with the sites & sounds of rotary powered vehilce`s in the smokie mountains. I had a great time, And I`am looking forward to next year. I have so many more pictures. post them later.:seeya:

I am currently editing some but I am really happy w/ the ones I shot. Can't wait to post them up and also see what everyone else has to post as well. What a perfect weekend!

well, just got home to brooklyn about an hour ago...

still downloading ~1500, 10.3 megapixel high-res jpg photos (8.3 GIGS...ugh)

my card reader is slow (~1.5MB/s)

You missed a great event, I had to come back early, but i went back. About 1200 miles on the truck in 4 days. Oh my back is killing me. Great Pics Adler...... thanks for getting some good ones for me.

I didn't think anyone was running Cherohala so we went on after buying souvenirs... by the time we hit the end at the Welcome Center, the rain had stopped and the sun was out. The drive through was really foggy/cloudy with drizzle.

yeah it was a little drizzly/rainy on the way out, but it had all mostly dried up for the run back

I think the intial plan was for us not to go, but it ended up changing.

As an afterthought... I probably shouldn't have put all that crap on my hood, lol. Thanks to everyone that bought a t-shirt :) I still have a lot left though, money I should have spent on my car, oh well :)

Nice shots Mike. Can't wait to see the others. I'm so glad you made it out. Just transport your car over next year, then you won't have to drive a Mazda3 on the Dragon. :)
