Any news on when the items will be shipped?

Thanks

rotaryextreme 02-07-2010 02:29 PM

GB is officially closed. All parts have been ordered and everything will be shipped as parts come in and as parts are made by the cnc guy.

I expect about 2 weeks, The GB people needed were not met, sooooo, I pick up the slack. Sucks, but I honor my prices.

Hi Ben;

Thanks for the update. Very happy to hear you stand by your prices. Alot of people would not of done that. So I applaud you.

Thanks

rotaryextreme 02-09-2010 04:39 AM

Well, I kind of have to. Otherwise I would kind of be a DICK if I didnt. I did not get my discounts because I was not able to order the needed number of parts, so yeah, I basically break even. So everyone got like a hook up from my end. The last time I did a group buy I actually paid out of pocket because I set the prices too low. The only thing that sucks is that next time I will have to work it differently so that it is fair for both me and the customers.

Heeley 02-17-2010 09:06 AM

Wow. that does suck. Having said that, the quick responses, and the integrity that you're showing in honoring GB pricing despite not meeting targets... I'm glad I got in and was able to support a stand-up vendor. I'm really looking forward to receiving my package in the mail to see if the product is equal to the vendor!

Thank you Matt.

I should have everything and assembled this weekend. Since I made little next to nothing on the parts I actually have to cover shipping from my day job...lol

Ben

shoot me a pm and i'll paypal you the difference. That's not right.

rotaryextreme 02-18-2010 11:24 PM

Hey, its all good Matt, I will just run it different next time. I am not toooo stressed about it because I do have a day job. I worry about all those other shops who have no other sources of stable weekly income. Everyone goes through hard times, we just need to find a way to make it through. Again Thank you for your offer, but a deal is a deal...lol.

Heeley 02-19-2010 08:22 AM

np. I just think it's all up to us to support vendors that support our community, and I don't like the thought of leaving you paying out of pocket so I can have cheaper parts. I do appreciate your integrity however. ;)

Matt

rotaryextreme 02-20-2010 06:19 AM

Well, to be successful we all have to pay our dues sooner or later. We win and we lose. But all is good. I have everyones parts and everything is about done. Just getting ready to ship everyones stuff out.

REVIT93RX7 02-21-2010 07:53 PM

Parts

I would be glad to pay the additional shipping as well. Some of the GB's open then get everyone interested and then set the price. That way they don't get stuck. Just a thought.

rotaryextreme 02-21-2010 10:19 PM

I know, but alot of those GB have people that end up backing out and I see alot of failed GB's. It really is not that bad of a situation because this is not my primary income. I took over Rotary Extreme because I did not want to see these products be lost that Chuck offered for the community. Also I was a fan of Rotary Extreme and a good friend of Chuck and..... well...... I just wanted to keep it alive after Chuck left back to his home country for personal reasons. It feels good being apart of something like this. It's always great to make money, but its even greater to be apart of the rotary community. I am still learning and I hope to make Rotary Extreme something big, but that takes time and I need to be fair. That is why I stand by my deals. I do not change rules while the game is being played..lol. Like REVIT93RX7 says, "for next time" I will still keep it fair and honest. Anyways, when I say big, I mean like Racing Beat big. Where Mazda comes to you for stuff. Ok, I'll stop dreaming...lol. But still, I was first a customer and a fan so I know how I would want a vendor to treat me. Now I am a vendor and I shall do unto others as I wish they shall do unto me.

Hood Dampers

Hi Ben;

Received the hood dampers yeaterday. Installed them today. Easy install and they work great. I especially like the RE logo etched into the bracket. Great job! Thanks again.

Jim

rotaryextreme 03-03-2010 06:23 PM

Jim, Thanks for the props. They look almost factory huh. LOL.

Ben

Heeley 03-22-2010 12:15 PM

Ben,

I got the Trailing arms, toe Links, and Hood dampers! They look like quality pieces. I can't wait to get them on the car and start tearing it up this year!

Thanks a bunch,

Matt

Heeley 03-22-2010 07:56 PM

Wow, just put the hood dampers on. Once I got them I thought "man, it doesn't even look like there's room for them to fit properly" but it's a really well designed slick kit. I'm excited about not having the prop rod getting in my way every time I do anything under the hood. I'm looking forward to putting the other pieces on!

War Eagle 03-23-2010 04:02 PM

I've had these hood dampers for several years and they are very high quality and work great. Highly recommended!

rotaryextreme 03-25-2010 02:32 AM

Thank you War Eagle!

I am glad they are working out well for you.

Heeley 03-25-2010 03:02 PM

Oh no, don't get me wrong, it wasn't a negative comment, more a comment on the precision of the engineering behind the bracket. I'm totally stoked about not having to work around the prop-rod anymore, and it looks and works really slick. I'm mostly looking foward to tearing into the rear suspension to put the toe links and trailing arms in, which are sexy pieces all on their own!

Matt

rotaryextreme 03-27-2010 09:24 PM

Heeley, lol, I didnt even know what you were talking about untill I read your other post..hahaha

Yeah it looks big, but it fits inside really nice and tight.

My wife agrees with that comment..hahahaha
