Cat removal
 

I got a friend with an 04 Rx8 with a clogged cat(glowing red). Can he just remove the cat or will this create other problems? If he has to replace it, what is a suggested replacement?

he can cut it out..itl throw the CEL but nothing to worry about..if he decides to replacing it then he might as well get a hi-flow cat or something along those lines
